I think it sucks ass how many only take insurance through employer. Dr Clavell only takes this, as if this surgery wasn't expensive enough and difficult to be approved enough. He doesn't even take Care Credit, the most popular financial service for cosmetic procedures and beyond.

Whether you have good insurance or not, depends a lot on your age, location, what job you have, etc etc pretty much all outside of your control

Not only this surgery is extremely expensive, but all the BS you have to deal with insurance and shit. Maybe medicare covers 80% or more of it, but what if you're not 65? so i need to be disabled to finally get medicare for a penile surgery?

who the hell has time to waste till you are a decrepit old man, many of us are mid 30s and have had this problem for years and years.

Not only is this surgery super expensive but is not even permanent shit doesn't even last the 15 years advertised in most cases, youd be lucky to get 10. Then, you have to get another one.

This is why the malleable makes more sense, even the malleable in USA is just as expensive, I was told by Clavell office that it costs literally the same 23k and that's a low price compared to other surgeons

just go to india, pay 3k and get the malleable, shit will probably outlive you, the health care system is trash here, everything is expensive and overpriced, they claim the implant itself costs 10-15k no way lmao

all these companies just profiting off mens misfortunes

imagine financing a 23k surgery only for that shit to fail in a few months or even 1 year hell no, we will not see any better in our lifetimes i promise you is the same for hair transplants, we wont see anything better than the overpriced overrated transplants which is just a temporary solution

of course going to india for a transplant is a risk you take, would much rather be done in USA but these prices are retarded, there are so many roadblocks and is all about money, there will never be a permanent solution to this problem because no one would profit from it if there was, same for balding, there will never be a permanent fix

A point of reference. I just bought an older used car for just under $13k. I really doubt it'll last 10 years. Maybe about 5 years.

Btw, I bet all the drs will accept any health insurance that will cover an implant within the network the dr is in.

As for Care Credit. If CC will aprove you? It is the same as cash but with lots of repayment strings attached.

Last, I was willing to pay cash for my implant. I had the money. But I delayed the surgery for lots of personal reasons. By the time those issues were over, I was old enough for Medicare. Medicare & my Advantage supplemental plan paid for close to 100% of the cost.

Something else is holding you back. My guess is you couldn't pay for any kind of implant in India either.

Im using injections and they still work, im single and only have sex once a month maybe twice, but i have a feeling eventually they may stop working, as i think i may be prone to scar tissue tho so far i havent noticed anything, but last time i used it, well it worked but not as great where before i would have the erection for like 3 hours now, last time it went away quickly after one hour i dont know if the medication is less effective now since i had it for 6 months or maybe is slowly working less and i need more

what stops me is the cost and the fact that i still get hard with injections, this surgery there is NO turning back

ideally i would rather do it in American, the indian option is a higher risk youre taking, but if at some point the injections stop working completely then i will have no choice, but at this point i feel like im not out of options yet

I may sound harsh but now is the time to be planning for the next step. Yes, an implant doesn't have much room for a change of heart. But I will point to a very common comment made by men that they should of done it sooner. Most likely you'll be saying that at some point in the future. Maybe the better way to frame that is do you want to say you waited 5 years too long or 20 years too long?

A person can do mental gymnastics a different way. Is sex once or twice a month worth the implant hassle? I have a very good friend who's wife was never very interested in sex. He just gave up trying. Religion beliefs put divorce off the table. Where is your line?

My advice, for what little it may be worth. Right now is the time to start planning on how to pay for an implant. Doesn't matter how. Insurance or self pay, start now.

Don't let the low prices in India tempt you. There is are a lot of other things that need to be paid. Think travel, in country travel & lodging. I've traveled to Europe several times with a native speaker. Nice countries, but you're always aware that you're only one misunderstanding or accident from an "oh shit moment".
