Well Merry Christmas to all!! I have been a good boy this year and just added a new implant to my Christmas list. Mine failed today!! Probably will not get it by Christmas but maybe a late gift in Feb 2024. The Titan Popped like a baloon and made an audible noise when it broke. I think its the left cylinder. Strange thing after sex was rolled to my back and went to slide off the bed when it happened. Not sure what caused it by its history. It was only 22 months old. My luck has been terrible with implants. If it can go wrong.... Its went wrong!
I know that it will be fixed but it causes such Anxiety and depression when it fails. I have had lots of failures with implants...maybe one will eventually last a few years.

sorry to hear it, every implant owners worst fear....when will it fail?
Give us more info;
Did you use a VED post implant? If so, how often and how much vacuum?
Did you cycle every day? If so, how long after surgery did you do this for?
Did you do Perito exercises when fully inflated? How often and for how long?
Is there anything you can look back on and think might have contributed to the failure? Sports injury, weird sex position, etc..?
I'm 10 months post surgery and still use a VED every so often, pump to max every day and do the Perito exercises as much as possible. I've read over and over that the cylinders are indestructible, I suppose you'd beg to differ. I'm just wondering if there's anything I'm doing that might cause an early revision

I had my first implant in 2013. It lasted two years. Had a complete revision in the fall 2015. In Feb 2016 had to replace the pump. That implant lasted til fall 2021. I had a complete replacement. I then had numerous surgeries after that because of failures of the device and body failures internally due to previous surgeries concerning the implant. Feb of 2021 was the last of the surgeries with a total new implant and all the body issues patched and repaired. Now the last failure which is mechanical of the devise again.
I’ve always had Titan devices.
I would like possibly some input from guys that have had both a AMS and Coloplast and which they liked the best. I love the titan device as far as the way it works and expands but the failures have been numerous.
Any advice?
I have did the exercises and have pumped every day just to keep the pump active. Each day did not consist of a full pumped up implant.
I’ve only used vacuum pumps before surgeries. I’ve always been afraid to use it when the device was functional.
I’m currently 62 years of age.
I am currently using Dr Hakky who helped correct some issues from previous surgeries. He is a great doctor and surgeon. I really don’t dread the upcoming surgery because I’ve never experienced and post surgery pain since he’s been my surgeon.
This may sound silly to say but when it’s broken I feel terribly anxious and super depressed. I know it will be fixed so I can’t explain the mental aspect of my issues.

Well I got two threads and posted on the wrong one
Went to the doctors office today. Got ultrasound and preop bloodwork. Have telehealth visit (because I’m 5 hours from his office) next week. The insurance preapproval request started today. I hope to get my revision in February.
Very depressing when this thing is broke

Ouch!
Yeah, sorry to hear that you need a replacement.
I would like to tell guys, including me, to just get the malleable and just be done with it!
My only problem with it is that it is too skinny for my taste. I would not mind the 7+ inches of permanent hard-on, but just too skinny.

Yep. They are super skinny and it looks hard all the time. I’ve never considered them because of those issues.
I’m just hoping this can be fixed. I’ve had so many revisions.
One would think I work everyday making porn movies with all these failures but I just wish. I mean probably avg 8 times a month .maybe :/

do you mind what girth you are ? im about to make a appointment for a ridgi10 implant and have not heard of malleables being "skinny" i don't wont to lose that for sure .I'm about 6 inches girth . now ill see if i can find any info on line as to the limit of girth .
ridgi10 has 14mm rods x 2 . thats 1.10 inches plus the penis . 1.9 is the diameter of a 6inch girth . so idk what 2 -14mm rods would give in girth .

For me, the idea of just one piece is very alluring. Balls and belly cavity I don't need to worry about. Healing is great...I was in action within a month!
I had it in as a place holder for my Titan, but looking back, I wish the Titan was the malleable, lol.
