Just Implanted - Clavell

Hello Gentlemen!

I wanted to thank everyone for their posts and info, they led me to Clavell and I was implanted yesterday with a 22cm Coloplast Titan.

I had developed Peyronie’s disease/scarring from an injury and while I was very proactive in treating and addressing the scarring, I ended up with a venous leak, rather than fighting it, I decided to get an implant.

At this moment I’m actually pretty sore. I’m bandaged up still and starting to swell up. I can feel the pressure on my testicles and with my penis sticking straight out it’s pretty uncomfortable. I’m also sore where the reservoir is. Overall, the pain is tolerable and I’m using the meds he gave me.

I’m glad I did this and look forward to using a straight penis with my wife!

I’ll keep updating everyone on my progress- I highly recommend Clavell- everything was great.

welcome newest Clavellian!

Was your wife with you just prior to surgery when Dr. Clavell visited with you? I have a question...

Oh, and ICE, ICE, ICE, ICE.....

Yes- she was. My wife is awesome. It was funny because several of the surgery staff asked if my wife knew I was getting this done.

So was mine, it was great to have her there. Did Dr. Clavell make any sort of joke or comment with your wife present? I'm wondering if he uses the same line on all the guys going into surgery with their SO present.

He's a great guy and easy to talk to, we had a good laugh at a time where I needed a laugh, I presume he's purposely a little lighthearted knowing how the patient is feeling just prior to surgery.

How was your pain and swelling the day after? The pain pills don’t seem to be doing much for me and I’m swelling up pretty bad. I’m still all wrapped up and that’s very uncomfortable with all the pressure. Texted the doc and he said all is normal. Also my implant is pretty hard but I guess it’s not even inflated all the way.

Anyways, the pain is getting pretty rough right now. Hopefully it subsides.

Yes sir- thank you! And everyone else for their well wishes.

I already think I should have done this sooner- the peyronies took its toll on my junk and my ego. Clavell said it was still pretty flexible so he was on the fence about doing a graft- he ended up not doing it as the titan straightened it out pretty well. My hope is that with cycling it will smooth out even more and the narrowing will go away.

Thank you again!

Fellow Clavellian here. 11 months postop.

You’re in the midst of some of the slowest moving days of your life right now. You just want it all better and the days seem endless until you’re at the “whew! glad all THAT’S over!” stage.

It’s day by day for awhile.

But the days will pass. You will heal. Your sex life will be restored. When i was where you are it felt like id entered into an alternate reality of alternating doubts and hopes.

Spoiler alert:

In the end, the hopes will prevail.

Thank you for the words of hope. I’m actually regretting it right now and wondering how others had no pain. I can barely move right now.

I am hoping this passes quickly because - Ouch.
