Crouching After Implantation

I'm in my hotel room. Will be implanted soon.
There's one refrigerator in my room. A mini refrigerator, placed in a wardrobe/closet. It's on the bottom shelf of the closet. No other shelf is large enough to put this thing on.
If i want to take something from the refrigerator, I have to crouch. It's practically placed on the floor. I'm scared of doing this right after my surgery. It may put too much stress on my abdominals.
Should I place the mini refrigerator on a table? The problem is, I may need an extension cord. I'm not sure. There are only two ways to analyze this situation:
1. I am tripping and overthinking (crouching won't be an issue)
2. Crouching to get ice and food for 7-8 times per day is stupid. Not solving this issue before surgery is idiotic. Old school, text-book retardedness (sorry for the r-word)
Any advise?
