Anyone know if VEDs can be used after surgery even though wasn't instrutcted to use before surgery?
I have had a few posts on here and VEDs was in one of them. But in that post was alot of other questions.
Mainly curious if anyone has used VED's after surgery but not before.
I had asked my doc after 2 months of surgery and he said NO. But now it a year later and wondering if it can be used now.
Before anyone says ask doc, I have but not got a response yet and it been over a month. With that being said just wondering if anyone else has used a VED post surgery EVEN though they didn't use one before surgery.
Been using Perito exercise that was sent and has worked got about half inch back and still working, gotten back to girth pre surgery so good with that, just wanting to get the length but better than what I was about 3 months ago.
Again just wondering if anyone has used VED post surgery even though they didn't use a VED before surgery.

I technically didn't use a VED before my implant. Because I did almost no research and didn't know about them, plus no one on FrankTalk back then said anything except "ask your doctor!" And because I massively abused Viagra then taking 15-20 100mg pills or more, which I found out after the fact does the pre-implant work of a VED.
So for me VEDs were not used pre-implant but they were successful post and had no negative problems. The important thing is I don't believe and am unaware of a possibly a reason
not to use one. They won't permanently break anything, and while you could regain all your size with cycling alone, a VED should make it happen sooner.
Gotta share my post that gives all the medical reasons why they're effective in the first page, and on the 3rd page find where I start with "haha, well ty, though don't ever forget I'm still an idiot" for how I learned about them and which ones have worked for me:

My Urologist / Implant Specialist Dr. Ryan Terlecki told me yesterday that a VED is not to be used after implantation. Can have bad effects on the cylinders (one reason they have been found to have the outer layer crack as per Boston Scientific) and can cause hematoma and other issues. NOT WORTH THE RISK.

I did use a VED a lot for two months prior to surgery and many on here were suggesting using one after to help with the break in period. Thru a lot of research I decided on just using the perito exercises which got me back to original size within about10 months. I did try a VED at one point but it put a lot of pressure on the bone area at top of penis and with my surgery being infrapubic that’s why were the tubing exits so I was worried it would kink or damage the tubing. there’s mixed opinions about using one after which in my mind is enough reason to NOT use one. No reason to in any way compromise a good thing.

I never used before surgery and tried it after but found that the pressure against my pubic bone area was too much ( even at very low pressure ) so i stopped due to fear of doing damage to the tubes. So after three years I've started using it again about once or twice a month but just to try and get blood circulation to the glan. ( Not for length - I use Perito exercise for that )

My doc said for me to do so before surgery, but was not keen post surgery.

Iceman, My dr was not keen on use after but didn’t say No, I use one about once a week at ten minute intervals, yes it pushes against the pubic bone, I don’t carry much fat there. in my opinion it insures good blood flow to the outer tissues and keeps the stretching continuing. I don’t shave but rather use a thicker hand lotion on contact seal, works fine and don’t over vac. My rechargeable unit doesn’t have the strength to do much damage but I definitely get a good pull from it.

I use it a few times a week, my doctor said it was fine. I do put a ring on the base of the cylinder (2.5 inch opening) I cut the ring opening wider to not put to much pressure on the tubes going to the reservoir.
