VEDs Prior to Implant Worth it?

Hi there,

If I still have some degree of erections (even if they aren't reliable for sex and go away in certain positions) and I'm not actually shrinking in size, is it worth it to push back an implant surgery date to use a VED leading up to it?

Say I could get the surgery next week with no preparatory VED use beforehand, or that I could postpone it for some time to use a VED religiously and in that way allegedly maximize length. Is it really worth postponing?

For those of you that used the VED to maximize length prior to the surgery - did it actually work, or is it just pseudoscience?

And if you recommend waiting and using a VED, for how long? A month? Two months? What's ideal?

And if you're asked by your surgeon to stop using the VED two weeks before surgery as I've seen some patients be asked to do, was it ever worth it in the first place? Won't you lose the length you gained in those two weeks anyway?

Thank you.

I didn't have a shrinkage problem. I had regular morning erections. But I used it for 8 weeks. Hakky thinks ved helps. Especially with girth.

There are 2 good articles in the documents worth reading thread in the general discussion section of this forum. One shows marking the ved tube and the gains each week. The other is the penis exercise article with really detailed information that I think should be followed for ved use prior to surgery.

Doctors are different and this is something to run by your doctor. Some want you to stop ved use several days prior to surgery and others a week prior. The largest gains are shown in the first 2 weeks. I had size loss and I think it did help me.

If you are still having nocturnal erections and have no size loss the gains would most likely be small if at all. But we are all different and I am not a doctor. The thing is in most men penis exercise does not hurt anything if done properly. So there is a chance of helping but not causing damage. I would not reschedule the surgery unless your doctor thinks it would be in your best interest.

Newbie443 is spot on. A delay of 2 weeks to get at least some ved use in is an insignificant delay.

It was definitely worth it for me. My original surgery was scheduled for Dec first 2021. I did about 5 weeks of VED prior. Got covid that canceled the surgery. This gave me the opportunity to do daily vacuum therapy for almost two more months. I saw visual proof of regaining length of about 1.5 cm because I made marks on the vacuum tube to follow my progress. So yes it is worth your while.

Since you're 26 I could imagine that even with some erectile dysfunction the amount of size you've lost so far would be a lot different if you're a 60+ year old man who's had ED for decades. Size losses will be clear and obviously to them, though strangely not all of those men realize it or will acknowledge it or something.

So I'd say there's a chance a VED won't do you any good, but it most certainly won't do you any bad either, so why not get one and try.

If you're serious about that implant in a week thing, I think most men getting an implant should try to postpone it. If not that's an ask your doctor cause it could be bad to start using one so close to surgery.

To close, here's some good anecdotal evidence that VEDs are by no means "pseudoscience."

And there's mountains of medical evidence also but I don't know if I should link my post all the time? I mean, I assume people have seen it, but I also assume this place probably has new readers often?

If you want to learn how and why VEDs work, read this post: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18561&p=169469#p169469

Also my comment on the third page starting with, "haha, well ty, though don't ever forget I'm still an idiot with."

Are you happy with your current Length, if yes then go for the implant if you need it. If you want length gain, real permanent length gain it takes dedication and work. ThundersPlace is a good forum for that. Hang weight with a bib hanger 2x a day, 3 sets of 10 min. Then use an all day stretcher, working your way up to 12 hours a day, like a jes extender. I gained an inch in length over 10 years. Knowing what i know today, and the better options for extenders, i think you could gain an inch in 1-2 years. VED did nothing for me other than some fun bang sessions with the wife, the more you use VED the quicker the fluid leaves your dick. VED feels nice but I believe it’s temporary gains only. Many others disagree, my personal experience with ved was temporary only. Once you get over an inch gain most people report its tuff to get that second inch. I stopped because I started bashing my wifes cervix.

Given a magic wand, I wouldn’t want over 6.5, hurting your partner kills the mood.

It realllllly can't be that great of an idea if PE (penis enlargement) turns into a common exercise encouraged at FrankTalk. I mean, it's just not right. One medical expert with Boston Scientific told me that all you're doing is stretching your connective tissues.

I was trying to find this video of a guy who does have a FrankTalk account: https://www.reddit.com/r/gettingbigger/ ... for_yours/

And while looking for it I found this one too: https://www.reddit.com/r/gettingbigger/ ... nt_sheeit/

This is not healthy and it's not sustainable. Am I wrong that products like RestoreX came out that apply some weight to the penis, and after that it was assumed adding a whole bunch of weights to the penis was totally safe and acceptable?

I do wonder, though, that if theoretically you do PE aggressively for years and you have stretched your tissues well past normal, could you get an implant and actually "cement your gains"? Take a 5" dick, stretch it to 6.5". Get an AMS 700 LGX that expands it to 7". But where did those 2 inches of flesh come from?

Or, is it true it's been about two hundred thousand years since humans first existed and throughout that time men everywhere have been trying but failing to make their dicks bigger. But did they finally find a solution?

Curious what others here believe about PE and it being recommended on FrankTalk.

Thanks guys. I'll probably get on a VED routine prior to the surgery. What still isn't clear to me is for how long. Is 2 months enough? I'll ask the doctor anyway but I'm curious what people here think.
