Ice on Wrappings

As you know, penis will be mummified for couple of days after ipp surgery. I'm instructed to ice my scrotum, which is wrapped in bandages.
I place ice on top of wrappings, but I'm not sure if I can succeed at cooling my scrotum. Do you know any other trick?

I used 1lb bags of dry beans. I used pinto beans. I had 3 bags in the freezer inside zip lock bags (double bagged). And I used white hand towels washed in bleach to wrap the bags in. No moisture to get the bandages wet and prevent infection. Just keep rotating the bags. After I was through with the cold packs I removed the bags of beans from the zip lock bags and put them in my pantry to used. As the beans are dry they do not clump like frozen vegetables or ice packs. This also is not supper cold to worry about getting too cold. Cool enough to reduce the swelling. Worked great for me.

I had 2 good quality gallon sized ziplock bags, one placed inside the other filled with ice and zipped closed. On my entire package, including scrotum, i placed a thin towel with the bags of ice on top.
As the ice melts it conforms to your body’s curves and essentially encases the entire area with its chilly, soreness and bruise healing magic. I stayed like this constantly during the day for the first 3-4 days. No frosbite. No damage.
No bruising. Minimal swelling.

I have ziplock bags filled with ice cubes. I place one of them on my scrotum which is mummified.
My problem is not knowing how successful I am. I don't know if I'm able to cool my scrotum when there are tons of bandages between the scrotum and ziplock bags. I guess I have no other choice. Fingers crossed.
My only other question would be what to wear for the first couple of days. When the wrappings force the penis to be in a position of full-fledged erection. I'm alone in a hotel room. Right now, my plan is to stay naked all the time.

Dry rice in a bag, dry beans in a bag placed in the freezer are options for chilling the sack. Frozen bags of peas too. If you use ice break the cubes to smaller pieces and add a small amount of water. All of these will form around your sack and penis to chill things down. Place a towel or cloth between skin and bag. Most docs recommend 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.

There’s plenty cold temp getting thru the bandages. Just keep it on there several hours at a time and it will do its job. Let the ice pack cover the area on either side of your scrotum as this will help cool the entire area.
