Every doc has different timelines. Mine was set for 6 weeks but saw the doc at 5 1/2 weeks and he gave the go ahead then. At 4 weeks out my body was not ready for anything as much as my mind was aching for it. Make sure the incision is well healed over before doing anything down there. An open wound messed with is risk for infection.

My doc cleared me to have sex at the 6 week mark after I had cycling training, but at 6 weeks my scrotum was still a little swollen, sore and numb. I could barley get in 10 pumps at cycle training and it hurt a lot when trying to squeeze the pump bulb.
I sort of thought about trying to have PIV sex because I surely did want to have sex but I was hurting too much, so I waited till the 8th week to try and have PIV sex. The first time for me and my wife was awkward because I didn't feel like I could get enough pumps in to make it hard enough. Different doctors have different time lines for sure.

I went in probably 9 times the first three weeks to see the doc or his PA. (I like the surgeon, but I absolutely worship his staff for the follow up and after care I got.)

2 weeks after surgery the PA left me in the exam room to “practice.” Getting comfortable cycling was my main challenge. I had bruised, and was sore, but other than stinging after urination for 3 days after surgery I had nothing i could call pain.

Anyway, the two of them come back in and the doc pokes and feels around and told me I could go back to sexual activity whenever I wanted.

Again, everything about my procedure was as planned. Zero complications. I did wait another 5 days before putting myself and the implant to the test. If my wife noticed I was 2” shorter she didn’t comment on it. About the only thing mentioned was not having to inject and worry made sex seem much more normal. The implant continues to be the elephant in the room. The whole description was “a minor surgical procedure to fix the ED.”

So….2 weeks and 5 days for me. Tbh I did ejaculate 4 days after surgery courtesy of the shower head.

Depends on type of procedure and Dr for sure. Dr Eid gave me all clear at week 3, cycling started at day 3 and I gave myself a gentle one at day five.

First intercourse at 17 days post-op, 3 days after my post-op, stitch removal appointment. At that two week post-op appointment Dr. Eid said all looks good but give it another week before sex. I gave it three days before my girlfriend and I got too horny to wait the full week. LOL
