I’m going bionic

About a month back I had a consultation with Dr. Tajkirimi in Northern Virginia. I’ve had ED problems for many years up to a decade. He tried an injection that resulted in no erection whatsoever. After a Doppler ultrasound I was diagnosed with venous leakage. I could finally have exact answers to what my problems have been.
Today I completed the preop tests and physical and also got word that I am approved with my insurance for the implant.
I’m a little nervous but ultimate excited. At 51 I would never had predicted full blown ED. But I’m forging ahead and I can’t wait!
Thank to this forum, I’ve had a lot of questions answered along the way.
Wish me luck!

When i too was diagnosed with veinous leakage it was a true “a-HA!” moment. Finally i had the answer that “no. it’s not just all in your head”. Once i accepted that there was nothing that could be done, i then binge-read everything i could here and learned a great deal….and took the plunge.
C’mon in! The water’s warm!

AWESOME!
I'm sure you have scoured the site for people's experiences, if you haven't you should.
If you check my profile I posted my original experience and I've posted my experience with recovering from my most recent revision (installed January 2nd 2024)

Best advice is to follow doctors orders, listen to your body and take your antibiotics religiously after surgery.

Thanks, Jackhammer. I really appreciated reading your journal and learning from your experience. It has definitely helped me understand more of what to expect. I am one week away from the procedure and I am growing equally excited and nervous. At least I am still sleeping at night. I’m anxious for the next chapter to begin. Thanks for everyone’s support!
