MY wonderful insurance denied coverage on an implant.

Has anyone paid out of pocket in USA to one of the experienced Docs that do mostly or all implants?

Whats that Docs name in Chicago that all he does is implants?
I read on here about him, anyone been there/know what he charges for cash patients?

My company provided insurance, UMR, denied my implant. If i could have waited 1 1/2 years Medicare would have covered it, but i wasn’t willing to wait that long.

I consulted with Drs. Perito & Clavell. I chose Clavell who was about $10,000 cheaper than Perito, out of pocket. I paid $21,000 total in Jan 2023. am extremely happy with the outcome.

I am in same boat with UMR, crappy insurance. Same age as you too.

What model implant did you get? Where is Clavell located, how was recovery, etc?

I am 63.5, no Medicare for another 18 months, really don't want to wait that long.

My health insurance through my provider sucks.

Thanks for your input !

I got a Titan with a classic pump. Dr. Clavell is in Houston. A high volume surgeon very well regarded by a number of us on the forum. Type my screen name in the search box to see my journal. It’s entitled “it’s showtime!”.

Dr. Clavell also has a youtube channel. Highly recommended you view his channel. Binge read here and learn as much as you can.
