Bulge (tubing) at base of penis?

I plan on speaking with the Dr. but I was curious if anyone had a similar issue. I’m worried that the tubes are protruding/came loose/need to settle?

I have a bulge about the size of a nickel on the left side/underside of my penis at where my scrotum starts. It’s very very tender and I’m very sure I can feel a tube. Is this common? I do have some swelling and a hematoma inside my testicle near the pump so is it possible that the tube is getting pushed up/out because of swelling?

I haven’t been cleared to cycle, but I do have to shift my penis around to work- I’m just over 3 weeks out. Follow up is February 9th.

Hoping someone had a similar experience so I can address appropriately via photos or maybe and hopefully not worry about it because it’s normal.

Thank you all!

I have a very similar issue with the tubes on the left with my AMS 700 CX. The pump is also stuck to the inside of my scrotum. I will see my doctor on Thursday, so will certainly be asking about both issues (and more).

If you don’t mind sharing your docs response?
I messaged dr Clavell on Sunday with no response (unusual) so maybe he’s off or maybe I’m being too sensitive about it.
I do have some swelling still (balls are 2x) and a large hematoma inside where the pump is- maybe that’s a factor?

Just bummed I’m not where others report at almost 4 weeks. Still being patient as everyone is different. I’m sure it’ll be fine. Hematomas are easy to drain if needed

Sammy you're less than 30 days from your procedure things are still swollen and healing it will take some time to settle. Its understandable why you would be concerned but its just too early to evaluate a final outcome. Dr. Clavell may have not immediately responded because he deemed it a non emergency. My personal experience a couple of days after surgery I developed some complications not being able to urinate and Dr. Clavell responded very quickly but fortunately everything turned out well, additionally he sent follow up text to see how I was doing. I really appreciated it because I live in another city far from Houston. Best of luck to you.

This seems to be an issue with those 7” and above. When the anatomy is long on shaft in relation to internal the implant tubing junction tends to be more visible on the shaft. The implants are adjustable to add RTE’s to increase the length of the internal structure, which pushes the junction towards the shaft, but limited by trimming the base (not sure all surgeons even do this) to move the junction back. The implants are manufactured in different lengths, but within each length there are no variations in location of the tubes.

If you read my original post- I was more concerned overall about the sharp snapping pain and sudden re-swelling of my testicles (which is going down again) after turning purple. I’m definitely very aware that dr Clavell may have deemed it unnecessary- but luckily I’m married to a NP with a PhD. She’s the one that caught the infection starting and urged me to get with the doc previously. So, since I had an infection brewing, now a snap and sharp pain and reswelling, it’s a little concerning- BUT- like you I’m sure it will be ok! I know I’m a newbie but as we all know, it’s super stressful. Thanks for the wishes and thoughts!

Edit- I realize I didn’t mention the snap and pain in my original post- I was walking up some stairs and felt a sharp sudden snapping pain, it felt like a rubber band going off inside my balls- scared the hell out of me - everything seems to be ok except the renewed swelling and pain
