I now read from another member that Dr Hakky advises to inflate to max, apply the VED chamber then pump and release (in cycles) to get as much oxygenated tissue into the penis as possible.
What do you all recommend? What methods have worked for you all? And, what have your Doctors recommended?
Thanks,

They are recommended. Check out the attached paper, which is one of three I have found that says to use a pump after (as well as before) surgery. (I just noticed that the Journal of Sexual Medicine's abbreviation is jsm, pronounced "jism." LOL

I thought this too but if you look closely at their methods that study does not use VEDs after surgery. It does mention VEDs on the bottom of page 1303 and it references the Seller et al. study but it mainly speaks to the benefits of using one before implant or after infection. I do think this could be interpreted as a good thing that it's not only the AMS 700 LGX that is proven to expand in length and girth, but also the Titan will with only fairly aggressive cycling.
If you want to see the studies specifically about using a VED after you get an implant, Dr. Wang put together all the existing research that had been done before 05/2022:
Penile size has been a concern for many patients and implant surgeons. Few studies evaluated the use of VED to improve the penile size in men undergoing penile prosthesis placement. The earliest such study was a phone survey of 12 men who had been utilizing VED following penile implants and found that 11 of the 12 patients reported improved erectile rigidity and girth when using the VED concomitantly.16 Another prospective study investigated VED use after penile implant for PD as part of post-implant rehabilitation in 145 patients. There was significant reduction of residual curvature and improvement of IIEF-5 scores.17 A third study looked at the VED use preoperatively for at least 10-15 minutes/twice daily for a minimum of 3 months in 13 men with severe corporal fibrosis. VED appeared to soften corporal fibrosis and facilitate placement of penile prosthesis. Patients also had a mean increase of SPL of 0.92 cm after penile implants compared to preoperative lengths.18 Lastly, a study randomized 51 patients to 10-15 minutes daily VED use preoperatively versus no pre-op interventions and found that daily VED for at least 1 month led to a statistically significant increase of SPL by a mean of 0.8 cm compared to the control group.19

I wrote about that with a lot more detail here:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=17292&start=20 My link also shows the newer Cai et al. (2023) study that gives further proof to the success of VED use after implant.
Discovernew wrote:I see this post is about a year old. For those of you guys who have been doing VED for several months or more. Have you noticed significant size gains? if so, how much?
I don't think it's correct to say VEDs themselves lead to size gains. What they do is treat or heal fibrosis caused by aging or other factors. That works excellently to give the surgeon enough available space to fit you with an implant size that best meets your real, natural erection, just like when you were a horny 22 year old. And then after implant I think newbie's argument is still the most supported theory. In short, VEDs are great before implants, and there's a pyramid of medical research proving it. After implant, there's also a decent amount of proof to the benefits of using VEDs and no negative findings have been reported, but cycling alone can also get you to your biggest size, although it will take a little longer.
Going back to that Henry et al. study Rodsmen initially cited, I do think you can interpret his section that mentions VEDs to explain how using them can allow the implants to expand to their largest possible sizes.
Tissue expansion involves making the tunica albuginea more compliant so it will stretch and allow larger distention by the inflated cylinder. Experience with repetitive vacuum device application shows the tunica will respond with short exposures to the vacuum therapy.
But can cycling alone and Perito's THE exercise cause the same results? I think that might be a yes.
