Will you still lose length with an implant even if you can currently get reasonable erections?

I ask because people seem to indicate that the reason for losing length is due to the fact most getting an implant have severe ED so have lost length due to lack of erections.
I can get good erections at times, but suffer from pelvic pain so its unreliable- also psycogenic problems due to the cpps... penis can lose all sensitivity sometimes and lose erection.
Will you lose length regardless of how well used it is?
Thanks

N_E,
Well, I didn't lose, in fact I gained a bit in length and a lot in girth. (Coloplast Titan)
I had bad ED for years before the implant.

From what I have read, men who have had no erections for a lengthy amount of time lose size because its nocturnal erections that maintain penis health and size .
Then they get an implant and think they lost it due to the implant .
also, losing size due to aging is a thing .how much so idk .
if you where to get a malleable and the doctor undersized in girth and length than you screwed. with a inflatable [if it doesn't crap out in short order]
members on this platform have reported getting their previous size back through the inflations over time .

I honestly don't think the terms "losing length" and "implants" need to ever be used in the same sentence again, at least not anymore. If you can get good erections now, the surgeon will measure your dick during surgery and insert the implant that best meets your size. If you don't get good erections now and haven't for a while, you can use a VED for several months before the implant and fix the decay in tissues that will then allow the surgeon to measure you at your ideal size.
Then after, implants do cause you to lose size initially, but that's simply because you have brand new cylinders shoved into your dick that need a lot of exercise to expand to their fullest potential. It might take months or a year, but you'll get your size back, and VED use before implant is supported by mountains of medical research proving their efficiency, plus VEDs after implant is supported by some medical research but seems to not have convinced everyone of their safety just yet.

Ok thanks.
I have severe emotional and psychogenic ED due to relationship anxeity and chornic pelvic pain.
I can get full erections for a while but right now theres no chance as in a depression cycle.
Part of me just wants to get the implant so I can forget about that side of the stress.

You’ll be fine. As mentioned, a great doctor will measure you in the operating room using a precise surgical measuring instrument that will insure you are fitted properly. Do your due diligence and get the best doctor, highly experienced.
As mentioned above, i gained about 1 cm and increased girth. Took a few months, so don’t sweat the recovery period. Cycling is rehab, not playtime. You’ll get it stretched in time.

If not already you should at least get a good VED and use it daily for at least 10-20 minutes if you’re not getting erections naturally or with sex at the time. This should keep you from loosing size during your down times when your not getting normal erections
