How long until the pain stops?

I’m 8 weeks post op. At 5 weeks I was given the ok to pump and go for sex. I thought I would be able to get back on the saddle and ride but I found I was far from it. At both ends of the implant I have quite a bit of pain. It feels like what I would call a toothache pain. The tips at both ends quite painful but the base is much worse. I have been doing the Perito exercise everyday trying to reduce pain and getting back what I lost but it’s slow going.
I’d like to know how to gauge this process. Please give me your insights.
Thanks

Go easy on the perito exercises if you’re having serious pain. Everybody heals differently and you could possibly be rushing the exercises or overdoing them a little. I stared the perito exercises about6-8 weeks but went easy at first til I healed. I pumped twice daily for 30 minutes which included P. exercises every time. It did cause discomfort but never what I would call pain. I had sex at around 3 weeks which could be described as painful!! lol but was oh so good. Listen to your body. It’s not a race, it’s a marathon!

The six week timeline seems very unrealistic. It took me 6 months before I was pain free.
