Got the call today that Anthem BC/BS has approved my implant surgery. I have a big freaking smile on my face. Surgery is set for March 25th. Not going to lie that it is scary but hopefully the smile on my wife's face....Priceless...

Good luck Bro.
I just read and took in as much as possible to prepare from the forum which helped loads.
Just over a week implanted so I am new, but as soon as I arrived out the operating theatre I was delighted and even more delighted when the doc unwrapped it the next day.
It was all a surreal time, really. I still wonder if I have had it done. Very odd!

Congrats........
Now you will be waiting for the countdown. Me just completed my 14 day Post Op checkup today. I posted my daily Post Op progress. (https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23859) It was not as bad as I thought. The surgery went very well.....But that damn Catheter and Drain, they were invented by the Devil. I almost kicked the nurse in the head when she removed the Catheter. But day to day progress, it was cool. Of course, the peeps in here, helped me with their uplifting comments and their PMs....a bunch of great people. So don't be afraid to ask any questions in here, you have all the support you need. Not that I "Read it somewhere support", but support from people that actually went through it. Good luck.

Since, I had two catheter last year and had no problem removing them myself. I don't see me having issues with that. I will have my implant placed and then I will be sent home to recover.
