My Dr has prescribed me Clomid as my test results for testosterone showed me in the low normal range.
He said it was an option to take it and left the decision up to me.
After reading about its benefits I decided to go ahead and take it.
I see it as a definite positive over time.

FYI clomid kills sex drive and can make you moody as hell. But it will raise test levels. I would urge to stay on the lower side of it or look to try get enclomiphene instead.

Similar side effects but less estrogenic effects compared to clomiphene.

Are you trying to get your partner pregnant ? If not for me testosterone injections work wonders for my mood and sex drive compared to what clomid did for me.

Well we are in our 60's so not looking to start a new family again lol
It is used off label for men to increase testosterone, there are a couple other meds prescribed the same way to increase T in men rather than the traditional method of gels or injections.
My Dr. suggested this one for me and after reading about it I am 100% comfortable with it.
When used for fertility purposes in women it def can cause mood issues and libido problems, from the info I have gathered ..case studies etc. those issues are very rare in men who use it.

I would disagree. Clomid in men causes a world of issues. I have experienced them first hand and I agree with the above. Testosterone injections would be a much better way to raise test if not trying for a family. No reason for clomid otherwise.

I will stay the course with my Dr's suggestion,BUT pre surgery I will def report back on my experience with it , and if I do start to experience the negative side effects I will post back here to inform others about it.

I am not sure were you are located but in California you cannot find generic clomid at all and the name brand is like 200 a month because insurance doesn’t cover it since it is off label use for men. I have been on it to improve my fertility but I get it in Tijuana for like 50 a month.
