Post op Pee changes

5.5 weeks out...when I pee I notice that it feels like there is less pressure than before. I can spray/shoot it out, same volumue but not really pee in the usual stream flow like before. also, more frequent. I also was a grower before, so pissing from a longer dick is new too. I am getting tested for a UTI today, but didnt know if anyone experienced similar before. I heard the opposite usually happens. Thanks!

Yes, the feeling is different usually because of having the catheter stuck in you. Peeing for me was a sit-down thing because I would spray all over. A UTI would make your pee burn or sting while urinating, hope that's not the case.

How many days did you have the cathetar in?

I have no issue. I believe I am peeing the same.

Perhaps it’s not fully deflated? Sometimes an implant can “Autoinflate”. Just a lil bit of inflation can make a difference

deflated I am sure. if it's a UTI or prostatitis does it mean unit has to come out? I am approaching week 6 post op. no issues otherwise.

No, should no effect your implant.
Other question, I seem to be a bit restricted and as many say on here you never know which way it will come out!! Some days it takes a hard right sometimes it’s a left and rarely but sometimes it’s straight out! I did find that the more complete that I’m deflated the less it’s effected.

I always shoot straight.

No. You should be fine. You are still relatively early in recovery. It takes a while for things to settle down.

No obvious UTI from urine sample, sugars normal, still pissing with less pressure and past two days every 10 minutes...ugh.

Just a hunch here since I've had several strictures ( narrowing of the urethra ), maybe you had a slight stricture and when they placed the catheter it opened the pathway back up. I know before my stricture surgeries I had a bit of pressure to pee and afterwards it flowed fast, think water flow in a garden hose versus a fire hose ( that's the way my uro described it )
