For those considering the penile impant, being 4 months post-IPP, here is my perspective based on my individual expereince. It is good to get various data points before you make your decision as everyone has a different experience and each man's penis is different.

Pros: on demand erection; much easier than VED or injections and I had tried both before; very hard when inflated; LGX does expand in length and girth; more normal feel during sex, very easy to use the pump and to deflate, very little pain after the IPP (but, I had a lot of swelling which lasted about a week).

Cons: possible loss in length (I lost about 1" in length and 1/2" - 3/4" in girth (Note: I had only one side implanted due to scarring discovered on the operating table), loss of sensation in the glans (this is fairly minor and most noticed during oral), soreness when fully inflated, particularly at the tip (hoping this continues to subside), the glans does not inflate with the IPP, so it can be a bit "floppy"; however, the glans has a separate blood supply, so I've discovered some stimulation will cause glans to enlarge.

All things considered, I continue to improve and am happy with my choice to get the IPP. Its not quite like sex before my radical prostatectomy, but darn near close.

I agree with your list except for a couple of points:
1. It is true that some guys have had a loss of length, but a long dick that is too limp for sex is not nearly as good as a somewhat shorter one that is ready for sex and fully functional.

2. One addition to the con list is that even with the best doctors there is about a 0.5% chance of infection during the surgery, and infection requires removal of the implant. That is a small chance so only about 1 in 200 times it happens, but there are enough guys who have posted their stories of that happening here that anyone doing the surgery should know of the potential. One way to avoid that problem is to be sure to choose a surgeon with a very good track record of doing the surgery. I had a surgery with no complications and so I am very thankful that I was one of the 199 without a problem.
