Firmness Question?

I had an AMS 700 CX implant in Nov of 2017
I’ve noticed in last 6 months I don’t get as hard as I did at beginning but definitely not limp or soft, still able to have good sex just that I don’t get as hard as I used to
Dr Hakky did implant and I have an appointment to see him in April
Just wondering what might be happening or going on….is it a pump issue or something else?

Does your pump still get hard, or does it fail to fill completely on the last pumps?
Thinking you may have a slow leak. Hope not though.

Definitely an issue with the plumbing… sounds like a slow leak. You’ve had it 6-1/2 years… that’s AWSOME. I know they say average life is 10 years plus or minus. I feel like I probably use mine a little more than average. Definitely used it a lot the first year with cycling and pumping twice daily. I’ll be totally happy if I get 6-1/2 out of mine. Hopefully all will work out and if it’s leaking you can get it fixed before it gets so bad you can’t use it. Keep us informed as to how it turns out! Good luck to you !

If it’s a leak it must be really small as once I pump up I stay hard enough to penetrate easily but at same time I know it could be harder but wife has no complaints yet….
Have an appointment with Dr Hakky in April for check up

I'm not sure that you're theory is totally correct. I agree that its likely a small leak. But it depends where the leak is. Your description sounds like it is not leaking between the pump & the cylinders. Thus, once pumped, you stay erect.

More infomation needed
When you pump up, are you possibly not squeezing the pump bulb as hard as you did before? (If your hand strength is getting weaker, you may not be able to tell, but might be cause for a visit to a physical therapist or neurologist for evaluation or to look for a cause.)

When you pump up fully, does the erection lose rigidity over time?

Is there a size difference (length or girth) from 6 months ago to now when fully pumped up?

my vote is you're just losing hand strength... ;)

Do you get to the same hardness on the pump you once did? Does it 'marble' and you feel the cylinders are not as stiff?

I also don't think it is a leak. This happens if I do not inflate for about 3 days. I have squeeze the pump harder. The next time I pump, I feel the stretching that I used to feel when I started cycling after surgery.

I think your observation is correct. At least for some men. I think that they run a real risk if they stop cycling. I personally set my minimum number of cycling routines at 2-3 times a week.
As always, this might not be appropriate for all men. Its just my experience.
