VED use

Postby DeadlineDave » Sun Mar 10, 2024 6:35 pm

I'm 10 weeks out from surgery. Was left inflated first 6 weeks due to swelling. Almost well, then some long airplane flight, apparently made the swelling come back. I have precisely 1 good pump left in the implant which the PA put in to test. I can feel the pump again, and I'd say in about a week I can use it.

My doctor's PA said they didn't have a strong opinion one way or the other about a vaccuum device. I tried, very briefly and half-assedly, to use it last night with an uninflated implant. It didn't seem to do much, but I was tired and when It didn't, I abandoned the project since I didn't really know. It occurred to me that the pump used to pull blood into the penis, but maybe with the implant it is different.

Question: Is it possible to use on an un-infalted implant? I'd just like to see my dick again, soon!

Thanks!

Why would you use a VED on an uninflated device?
Venous Leakage (which I believe caused by my overuse of the Bathmate VED)

I'd definitely not use a VED on an uninflated implant.
My concern would be stretching the penis off the implant, and a cylinder moving out of its proper position.

Bad idea, you could really screw up the placement of the cylinders.

I'm of the opinion that a VED is what you slowly graduate to after you're mostly healed. Can reliably pump & deflate. And have maxed out most of your recovered pre sugery size.

Its the final step in regaining size, not the first step.

I was told by my dr. not to use a VED with my Rigicon mallabble unless I was doing it ot stretch the tissue out further in order to do a revision for a larger implant.
