Sex six weeks after penoscrotal surgery?

Hello gents,
I can’t tell you all how beneficial this forum has been to me! I’m a 49 year old lifelong ED sufferer, probably a venous leak. Pills worked a bit (but hated the side effects), relaxation techniques worked a bit, but nothing was ever really satisfactory.
So now I am getting an implant on May 2nd! Will be an AMS implanted by Dr. Aaronson here in San Francisco. He’s a regular implanter (12-15 a year, for 10 years), but not one of the specialists.
To be honest I feel like I get to be a teenager after this - and not “again” but for the first time. There was never a time when I wasn’t worried about my erection, even when I had one, usually from pills. So despite a very high libido, my confidence was never there. I managed to make a decent sex life for myself, perhaps compensating by being more generous, but I can’t tell you how exciting a stress and side-effect free session of banging on demand seems to me right now. I split with my wife last year, and have been holding off on connecting with anyone until after I get this sorted out.
Which leads me to my main question: Six weeks after my surgery (penoscrotal) I have a trip scheduled where I can probably get lucky if I want to. And boy do I want to. But do you think I’ll be ready recovery-wise? And if I do get lucky, what might go wrong that early?
I plan on taking the approach of not telling women I date that I have an implant before we get busy, but being open and honest about it if the topic ever comes up. But I’m not really worried about that, just about the physical aspect. Could I still be swollen or hurting? What could go wrong? Any tips getting ready for such an early test, and with someone I am not in a relationship with?
Thanks!
