cylinder replacement

Hello Members,
I had implant surgery with Dr. Eid last Feb 2012 with a Titan installed. Turns out that the left cylinder (21cm) is a bit twisted, leaning left, and almost going to the tip. There's no pain but Dr. Eid would like to replace just the left cylinder with a smaller one, probably 20 cm, without touching any of the other components to make a more comfortable fit and straighten things out. He will be installing the new Titan zero degree cylinder. Has anyone experienced just getting the cylinder replaced? Is this a less invasive surgery than the original implant surgery..I would think so. This repair is not for failure of the implant but a wrong fit. Any info is appreciated...thanks,
