Penis Lenght after implant

I want to understand correctly why one may loose lenght after the implant. I´m very young (23 years) and i have a venous leak, but i can get good erections with viagra. I´m afraid that one day not so far away my condition may get worse and i will need to get an implant . My erection lenght is about 6,6" , what should i expect after an implant ( considering i dont have diabetes, peyronies, any fibrosis and im young)?
What implant is suggested in young men ams lgx or titan coloplast?
It will help me a lot to read your testimonies about how lenght changed (if it changed) and what was your previous condition (prostate cancer, peyronies, etc).
Thank you guys!

Neisseria,
Welcome to FT ... you shouldn't really lose any length, if you do not have any previous issues and you maintain good penis health. Once you no longer have regular nocturnal (nighttime) erections, you need to use a VED (vacuum erection device) to replace that function. Which helps to increase poor blood supply and prevent tissue atrophy. The old saying "use it or lose it" is very true ...
https://www.cornellurology.com/clinical-conditions/erectile-dysfunction/vacuum-devices/As for which model ... both give a satisfactory result ... however most guys here have selected the AMS 700 LGX. Keep us posted of your progress ...

Bionic, AFAIK there has been no poll on FT on which model most guys choose. In fact, the surgeon I'm planning to use next month, Dr. Francois Eid in NYC, now implants 90% of his patients with Coloplast models. I think he is considered one of the highest volume implant surgeons in the U.S.

I don't need a poll to determine the amount of guys who have which model ... if you read thru the posts here or chat with the guys ... to me it seems about 75% AMS.

Good luck with your Implant ... and keep us posted of your progress ...

I saw lots of satisfaction with AMS and Coloplast. I really thought a lot about this and reached the conclusion that loosing up to an inch (and recovering something later) would not bother too much to me as you get the "ability" too have an erection whenever you want all the time you want, that´s priceless. And i saw too much guys saying that you have to think it a lot because there´s no way back... why i would want to come back? come back to what? you will still have ED. The implant seems to be the best solution (if it was well implanted without complications).
I love this forum, it helps me a lot with my problem, really , thanks a lot guys

You shouldn't lose length, just at most 1/4 of an inch- just because the head doesn't swell up as much supposedly. As far as the shaft of your penis, it won't shrink. I had prostate CA which DID make me lose length, but aside from that, my implant was perfect.
As far as which device, I went to Dr. Andrew Kramer in Baltimore, one of the world's best without a doubt. He uses 95% Coloplast. So does Dr. Francois Eid in New York, another high volume guy. I obviously don't work for either company, but I think they're both good. I came thinking I wanted an AMS LGX, and after my discussion w/ Dr. Kramer, he completely changed my mind and I got a Coloplast. I'll never know if this was the right decision, but I'm thrilled with the result. I'm here to help if I can. TR

I agree with treifsnyder. I also got my implant Dec 19th from Dr Kramer at UMaryland. He is phenomenal I just placed a post on my experience. I did not lose any length. In fact, I think I may have gained some. I agree, go back to what. Choose your surgeon wisely. I got a Titan. It is a package indeed.
