Urethra injury? Possible removal now? How do I deal with this?

Hey folks.
I was implanted by Dr.Eid in New York on Tuesday of last week. I am at the point where I am cycling in the tub as the doctor said.
a few days ago, my second or third day of cycling, I decided to call the office to ask about an issue where after deflation, I was bleeding out of the tip of my penis. Sometimes a liquid, sometimes a clot of blood. Dr.Eid told me that it's possibly a urethral injury, and that if it is, I would have to have a cylinder removed. I'm no idiot. I know this will result in a much smaller penis. I know how bad another surgery or two would be. I'm freaking out. I went the past two days without blood, but tonight after cycling I had another big clot come out. All of my research is coming back with the same findings. The only things I can find are about how bad it is to be bleeding this long after de-catheterization.
What I'm looking for is anyone else who was bleeding or having burning in the urethra after implantation for more than 2 days and it turned out fine. I literally can't find a single post about it on franktalk, which makes me feel like it's over for me. I'm getting this thing taken out and now I'll have a significantly smaller penis than I should have on top of it already being much smaller after implantation.
Yes I have contacted Eid. I'm doing my best. I'm trying to get through this dark night. I'm about to go to the ER because of my extreme panick. I know I'm jumping to conclusions and panicking. I'm looking for help with that and to hear of someone who went through the same thing and is fine. I need any hope I can get.
If I broke rules in this post, please delete it. I'm sorry if I affect any of you negatively by posting this. It's not my intent.

Sorry for your injury. But they do happen. Just bad luck I think. Alot of times they can remove the cylinder to make a repair and put the cylinder back in. If you think of some of the enlargement surgeries or even crossover cases. I would not at this point think of this causing size loss. It might but then it might not. Best thing to do is to get back to Eid or to a doctor recommended by Eid as quick as you can. Even if the inflatable cylinder cannot be put back in a malleable can and will greatly reduce size loss. Of the cases I have read about only the best doctors are doing this. That is why it is important to get back with Eid about this. Best of luck to you with this. Try to stay positive and keep to your decision to kick ED's butt out of your life.

I am trying so hard to find information about this. I can't for the life of me find anything. Can you point me towards what you're talking about? I haven't seen any mention of malleables when it comes to this specific topic. Also, as far as I'm aware, a urethra injury takes 3 to 6 months to heal, and then they have to cut out the scar tissue at that point. Definitely not a doctor and could definitely be wrong. If anybody knows better I'd love to know. There's not enough time with Dr.Eid to figure this stuff out. It seems I'm always short the information that might give me a bit of hope or context to my situation. Thank you for your reply. I wish I could just spam his phone with anything I want, but I try to make the most of it while not hounding the guy constantly.

The fact it didn't bleed for a couple of days might be a good sign and the clot maybe old blood. i would stop the cycling for a few days personally, let it heal. I didn't cycle for 4 weeks because of a hematoma and regained my size. Panicking and worry make things worse, whatever is going on will heal or get fixed eventually and you'll be fine.

This is the attitude I need to maintain. You're not wrong. I can manage it a lot of the time, and sometimes like this I faulter. I know for a fact that I get hyperfixated on things, and it's part of diagnosed mental health conditions. It is never healthy to fixate, even on positive things. Sometimes it's just a simple post like this or the one above from Newbie that can turn that around. Not that I should be relying on others for that, but I really do appreciate the sentiment. I'm going to just chill and try to play some games for now.
Dr.Eid got back to me and I didn't realize my phone had died. He actually gave the same advice as you: Just chill on the cycling and come see him in a week's time. Until then I'm going to try to just put all this crap out of my mind and try to have some chill, distracted days.
Hopefully this post will help anybody in a similar position to me, now or in the future. You don't see much about it on here, apparently (unless my skills at navigating FT are just trash). I'll update as things progress. Thanks you guys, big time. Oh and yes, I'm in therapy, lol. I can recommend it to anyone who feels they can relate to any of what I'm saying as well. Just putting that here because I know it's a good recommendation that people might make for me.

First, I’m not a Dr so just a humble opinion. Possible you had a small injury from the catheter which was aggravated by the stretching induced by cycling. Small abrasions and nicks are fairly common with catheter insertion and removal. That’s why that first piss after catheter hurts like a bastard. I would rest a few days before stressing it again. My thought is you will be fine.

I gotta agree I have not seen this issue on franktalk before though I've read about the possibility of it in the various medical papers. Please keep us posted with updates. You're very fortunate to be in the hands of perhaps the #1 surgeon in the world for this issue.

Have you had any prostate work done? You dont mention why you had ED. Dr will say after a prostate biopsy you may see a little blood. Holy hell, a little blood!!!!. I had clots a week after that looked like the Devil was coming out of me.

Shortly after my surgery, I passed some blood clots. It happened several days in a row. And then it stopped.
I like the advice of the poster who said just take it easy on the cycling for a couple of days. It's possible it will pass. Here's hoping!

Bottom line up front: urethras do heal.
Advice: don’t put Descartes before the horse. The first thing that needs to be done is find out what’s going on.
I know most guys prefer to be poking their dicks into something or someone rather than having to have something inserted into urethra franklin. Unfortunately, to find out what’s happening that is what they need to do.
A fiber optic scope from your pisshole to your bladder so the doctors can actually see where blood is coming from and the nature of the injury.
Is the injury implant related? No way to know until they look. Was it a one-off or an ongoing problem. Again, they won’t know until they look. Will it resolve or are they going to have to do something with your implant for healing to take place? No way to know until they see what’s actually going on.
Don’t stress and don’t kill yourself with worry. Find a urologist who can scope you to the bladder and find out what the problem really is.
Example: thus was before my implant but it’s a good example of urethral injury & recovery. Right after a hernia repair (3-4 days) I started feeling like shit. Ended up in ER. Surgery fine. I was trying to pass 3 kidney stones. The big one was the size of a grape.
Due to the surgery they couldn’t put me in lithotripsy tank and pulverize them. So they knocked me out, snaked a wire lasso up my urethra, and dragged it out.
My urethra could only be described as bleeding hamburger meat by the time they got it out.
Two stents and 3 weeks of resting the urethra tissues while on high test antibiotics cleared everything up. Removing the stents was interesting, to say the least.
It would be better if this weren’t happening. But it is. Now your goal becomes find out what’s really going on instead of imagining the worst case and proceed to do whatever permanently fixes it quickly and we’ll.
