Implant with Worsening Sensation

Hi Guys,

I posted some weeks ago seeking advice on loss of sensation and in hindsight it was... not worded very well. High-level overview:

- I've had success following Titan implant
- Often 5mg Cialis only needed if even that
- Great engorgement and sensation

The bad stuff:

- over the past ~9 months I've seen worsening erections and sensations, a steady decline over time
- Cialis now no longer does anything despite years of consistent success
- this coincided with a seriously unhealthy period of diet/lack of exercise/lack of sleep

I'm working on improving cardio fitness and diet again though as yet no improvements to my erections. The implant is functioning as per usual afaik. When attempting kegal exercises I now feel much less sensation; I can't feel the pinch towards the end of my penis or indeed much of the shaft.

Is it possible that a steadily weakening pelvic floor has reared its ugly head and could be the cause of this? Cause of relative weakness being prolonged unhealthy lifestyle as stated aboveI; I would also have frequently been straining to poop and my understanding is that this too could contribute to weakness.

Bizarrely my erections seem to kick in somewhat at spontaneous times should I be driving my car / in a unique leg position but I'm struggling to recreate and it's in no what what it should be. I should say too that I think I may have been too rough in masturbating as this worsened in a bid to regain the experience of the act.

I never attempted a pelvic floor exercise routine but am picking them up now and doing my best with YouTube videos. I'm also embarking on a reduced frequency of masturbation to give my nerves some rest.

I'll update as I go should any success occur though would be grateful for opinions. The decline in Cialis effectiveness as this situation has worsened over time before now not working at all has shocked me.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, but its best to see your Dr.
Speaking only for myself, I cannot make heads or tails with this one only because to me, if you have an implant, everything, except the erection itself, should be the same.
Now, you talk of waning experience, that tells me you may need a revision, but that is just my opinion and what I can make out of your situation. Sounds like something else may be going on because of the diminish sensation you are feeling. I strongly advise the Dr. visit. Please tell him/her EVERYTHING going on and what YOU think (advocate for yourself because you are the one going through it). Good luck,

Ag

I had a lot of diminishing in sensation for the full year prior to my implant! I was using injections 2-3 times a week and using a VED twice daily to try and maintain my failing dick. I’m sure I was overdoing the VED and sensation diminished to a pretty bad point prior to implant. A few weeks after implant I started the pumping and Perito exercises and as with everything I do I’m sure I was overdoing it a lot and my sensation continued in a bad way. After first year of implant I only pump for sex or masturbation and that’s total about 3 times a week, I started only masturbating with lubricant and I think helps and gradually I’ve regained some sensation and appears to be continuing to get better. Try different things that could be effecting it and remember nerves require a year or more to regenerate. Changes will come very slow if you can figure out what’s causing the issues.

I'm confused. How can you be experiencing worse erections with an implant?

Why would. Pelvic floor problems affect an implant.

I ask for a very real reason. My ED is mainly caused by pudendal neuralgia and pelvic floor dysfunction. I assumed an implant would still work with pf issues.

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll send a message to the doctor first thing tomorrow morning and try to put it out of mind until then.

I won't lie, I'm terrified at the moment.

Everything was functioning so well with the implant and this feels as though it's come out of nowhere and I simply can't understand what has happened.

I'll continue also with abstaining from masturbation alongside exercises. Again, the implant is functioning as it should so something else is happening here.

It had been entirely normal for me to see engorgement of my penis shaft and head whilst barely inflating the implant at all (after several days of abstaining), and when utilising Cialis alongside the implant it became a rock; I could feel the pressure of the blood in my penis.

All of that is currently gone.

So the implant itself works fine? You can still get a great erection with the implant fully inflated?

Im interested because I have pelvic floor dysfunction and this would be my reason for getting one.

Obviously if It doesnt work with that condition I would be concerned.

Dr Eid many times has said that the implant ultimately caused atrophy in the tissues of the penis. Maybe this is part of what's happening to you now

Its a different blood supply that feeds your glands compared to your shaft, i agree in talking to a doctor if your glands blood flow all of a sudden stopped.. asap! If the only variable is blood flow stopped but your just as horny, no big issues at work or home etc… something sounds wrong.

Most people its in the head, i would try no porn, no masterbation for a couple weeks and keep the glands covered with a cream and baby sock if your circumcised. Try to refocus your arousal to the female body not a porn fetish like baby sitter fantasy etc…. This has helped me in the past but your situation sounds different to me.

Anymore info on this? Has Eid said that basically any man who gets an implant will experience penile atrophy?

Yes that's his opinion as far as I know
