I am looking for over 70-year-olds that have had implant surgery. I'm a 74-year-old male in great physical shape, with no meds, post-prostatectomy, and radiation, and I am trying to decide if other men had the implant procedure done. I sure miss having an erection. Thank you for replying.

Hi tomcat, I was 68 when I had mine done. My first surgery as an adult. Rough time healing but it has been worth it.

I'm 73. Had 2 prostate surgeries back in early 2000s. lost ejaculation capability, but did not lose the prostate. Have suffered ever since with ED. Used Viagra and Trimix and combinations of both. They worked for several yrs and then just lost effectiveness. Finally told Urologist I wanted something else. He suggested an implant, I was a little hesitant but then said OK. I received my implant on 3/26/24. So far I am extremely happy with it.
We are a couple of old farts, but not ready to completely give up on sexual enjoyment.
:D  ;)

I was 75. My wife and I had a very active Sex life., up till RP.. Torrid actually!!
. She didnt push me to get it but everything else did not work. Only 9 months after RP I got the implant. Very satisfied with it. 6 years later. Wife has passed. I am on the dating scene now. go to members only / dick of the day page 148 to see results. I am very happy with it.

Hi Tomcat. I am 73 and had my implant surgery done two and a half years ago. Had prostate cancer surgery on 2007. After exhausting all non-surgical treatments I opted for an implant because nothing was working. My wife and I were not ready to give up the sexual intimacy part of our lives. It is important to both of us. We couldn’t be happier with the implant. Eliminated anxiety and frustration as well as the need to feel like I had to rush during sex before I lost the erection. Now we can take our glorious time. I now regret not doing it years ago. Best of luck to you.

Hello, I'm 71 years old and had mine done January of this year.

My recovery was a little unusual in that I had a LOT of swelling, so couldn't start cycling until about week 12. But have been cycling about 9 weeks now. At last, the soreness (pain) associated with intense inflation has disappeared which is awesome. And I'm about 1/8" away from pre-surgery length.

The recovery is work. You must do physical therapy daily, some say twice a day, for a number of months so it's not over when your initial recovery from surgery is done. I guess I didn't really know that. But, now that I do, I don't have any regrets.....other than not doing it sooner.

My drs nurse told me that he had implanted a 101 year old man. I believe every word she said. To be exact. At my last post surgery exam. An old man went back to the exam room. He verified his date of birth. The date he gave lined up with a 101 yo man. She said he got it because he had just gotten married to like a 95 yo woman & they wanted a sex life. Btw, she did say that his exam & lab work showed he was in excellent health.

I guess that has to either be a record age or very close to the record. All you guys on the fence trying to decide on an IPP. There is a 102 yo (now) man getting more than you are. How does that feel?

I was 69 last June when I had mine done, I got a Rigicon mallable implant due to my age and health issues. My surgery was simple compared to a inflatable implant never even took the first pain pill. I have had some issues but not with the implant itself. So yes it is worth it to have a guaranteed erection anytime of place you want. Do yourself a favor do your research on both the dr. you use and which implant to get.

I was 80 and in good shape when I had mine.
I found it pretty easy, but I did have to sleep in a recliner for a couple days.
