VED Post Op. Why?

Postby secondchance » Sun Jun 09, 2024 12:35 pm

Hello I'm looking into getting an implant. Going to start pumping with VED beforehand to hopefully restore healthy penile tissue from ED hypoxia. I read more and more about people using a VED post surgery. First of all is this Doctor recommended and do Doctors instruct to use the VED with the implant fully inflated? And lastly, what is the point of using a VED post surgery? Increased length? Increased girth?

Thanks for the help :)

Personally it helps with engorgement of the glans and the spongiosum.... also I can see the implant expand and lengthen in the VED cylinder. The gains and engorgement are temporary but for the time you have it .... it's great ! Like inserting a carrot and pulling out a cucumber. I have my implant at 100% or very close to it . Trial and error for me though I know some docs have made videos about VED use with implants. Do a YouTube search on it . Check Clavell, Perito channels. I'm sure there's others. Please do your own research before using a VED post implant. My advice take it slow. Don't put to much pressure in the VED cylinder AND don't be in a hurry to try it after surgery. Let those incisions inside and outside fully heal . DONT RISK FUCKING UP YOUR IMPLANT !

This is just speculation, but it may help with the formation of the surgical capsule when cycling. By that I mean having a bigger, wider capsule so you can be all that you can be

Because a whole bunch of doctors researched it and found that using a VED before implant makes your dick as big as it was before you suffered from ED, and using a VED after the implant makes your dick even bigger than it was in the first place.

Several of the many important ones here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18561&p=169469#p169469

Also if you want to see how I learned about these and which ones I've used you might find my write up on page 3 starting with "haha, well ty, though don't ever forget I'm still an idiot" helpful.

Goal to prove implants increase dick size

Pre-op dick size: 8.75" x 5.7"

Current: 9-9.5" x 5.5"

Goal: 10+" x 6+"

Thanks man! did Boston Scientific give you a protocol? I know a lot people are saying that pumping over 5 Hg isn't recommended.

lets say you are able to inflate 100% and then usw a ved to enlarge your penis. how do the cylinders behave? given they cant stretch anymore/cant keep utp, doesn't that result in floppy glans? if not, howcome?

I was told not to use a VED with a mallabble implant, will make the penile tissue stretch and then you can get "floppy head" issues.

I’m sure using a VED could help speed up the process of breaking in your cylinders. However at the one year mark I had returned to my pre implant size plus a little additional girth. At 13 months I ran out of fluid meaning my cylinders can’t and won’t get any bigger. I feel if I were to have use a VED I might have gotten there a little sooner, but at the point where you run out of fluid it would be useless and. Old cause my dick to stretch out past the implant limits or make the implant less rigid. I looked at the notes on my surgery and my Dr used the maximum suggested amount of saline fluid that manufacturers recommend for the size cylinders I got. After reading what was posted about research done with people who used VED I can mirror the exact same thing as they did by simply pumping and doing the perito exercises. Maybe it would have been quicker maybe not. I was installed infrapubic and where the tubing comes out on top side of my penis my VED pushed against those tubes causing a bit of discomfort so I never tried it again. Either way I am maxed out with what I have.

Yea I'm on the fence about it, I'll be sure to ask my Dr about it as well. Interesting about you maxing out your saline reservoir, I never heard of that. Does that mean you can't pump up to full rigid? What are your measurements pre op and now? Which implant model do you have?

Given this talk on this forum about implants possibly causing atrophy, perhaps VED may provide therapy for this.

However, I do think the context of the response from, say Dr Ied allegedly saying Implants cause atrophy, must surely be in scope of discussing why a 2nd Implant is usually larger than the 1st Implant.

I must admit, I've been on this forum for years and had never heard of this idea that implants cause atrophy until recently.
