Dr. Says NO to Cycling!

Hello BionicMen,
I’m almost 10 months post-op and many users here helped me a lot during my painful and tough recovery.
My Dr. Asked me not to consider cycling any more 5 months post and I used to cycle on daily basis! Just wondering about other practices given that I’m still unable to figure out how to fully deflate till now and it’s the only concern i have on top of not regaining size till date! I’m worried if i stop cycling, I’ll be losing the chances of regaining size.
Thanks

He didn't give any reason and says that's its different schools! He says you can reply on pumping while having sex!
There is nothing medical that is stopping me from cycling except his advise!
Do you think I should ignore and continue with cycling? If yes, at what frequency?

If your having sex every day I dont think there is much of a need to cycle. If 2x a month ????? Feels like you should cycle if the second is the case.

I do think a year of cycling 2x a day for the first 9-12 months post op makes the most sense for your first surgery. Those tubes need pressure and time to expand and soften up, i could be wrong though, Clavell should know. I agree with other docs on this point, Clavell is a stud though.

I was told by my doctor to cycle for 6 months and then leave. He said not much is gained by regular cycling after 6 months.

IMHO, I didn't really see gains until almost a year. I cycled 2x/day for the first year after I was given the OK to.

It is about inflating whether for having sex or cycling. My personal experience is if don't inflate for about 3 days, the next time I do it I feel the same stretching that I used to feel when I was about 2 months out. I think scar tissue will start to form making the pump feel harder. This is just my opinion.
The first year, cycling is necessary to regain size, although it is different for everyone. As there is no (Standard) process for that, most surgeons recommend inflating twice a day, 30 minutes each for the first 6 months, then once a day during the following 6 months. After one year, if you are inflated 2or 3 times a week for having sex or just cycling it will be enough. You don't want to wear the pump out by unnecessary inflation.
