Revision after 2 months

I had my implant ( AMS 700 LGX) in April 2024. I was only able to pump 5-6 times after my 4 week check-up & then the bulb stayed firm, which I figured was normal until it gets broken in. The next week I could only pump 3 times and then the bulb stayed flat. The doctor thinks the pump took a crap
...Just my luck
...So now he wants to do a revision and put a new pump and tubes in. I called Boston Scientific and they said it does sound like a defective pump. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen? And if so, how bad is the recovery from it. I can't imagine it would be as bad as the initial surgery. I really don't want to take another 4 weeks off from work. But I do work for UPS and do a ton of heavy lifting.

Mike-
Sorry about the failure. Can't speak from experience but many guys state the revision is easier than the initial implant. If doc is only replacing the pump and tubes that should be a much easier surgery. Best of luck.

I had my revision six weeks ago, and yes, the second time was easier for me. Less pain and I didn’t have to keep the penis upright after three days. The one negative I noticed was that the scrotum swelled for a longer period, that’s why I have to wait the six weeks before inflating. My first implant was 2006 and lasted about seventeen years, so I have no complaints.

I forgot to mention, both implants were Titan Classics.
