Cycling question

I started cycling on Monday, six weeks after surgery. For the first three days I practiced in my hot tub, until it got too hot outside, in the nineties. Since, I’ve been lying on a bed, practicing 25-40 minutes, without a bath, after taking Tylenol forty minutes before. I’m thinking of trying standing or sitting if that may be more comfortable. Has anyone tried this, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've been cycling about 4 months now. I like to pump standing and then sit in a recliner with a heating pad. The heat softens things up and you can pump periodically to get it to a point where you know it's stretching because it hurts.

I prefer laying on my back to pump to max, or a bath. Standing up works fine but the bulb slips more for me when standing.

I am at the month cycle time slot.....4 months. I use the hot shower with the hand sprayer spraying on the ball sack. I have to lay down to try to pump. I can never get above 6 - 7 pumps...max. Then the pump bulb locks up hard as a rock. Never can get to anything near stretching. If you read any of my posts or replies, the CYCLE / INFLATE as been the most difficult of the entire process. The entire operation from surgery to healing has been an 8 - 10. But the CYCLE / INFLATE has been a 0 - 2.

Hey Bigdog,
Try a heating pad. I don't think the shower gets warm enough and the heat pad is more localized
I went to Walmart and bought a small one and it gets plenty warm. I had the same problem as you when I started out cycling. Now the pump us soft and I can get about 15 pumps before it gets hard to pump. Then I sit down in a recliner with the heat pad, do some exercises and then I can get a few more pumps in. I do this for 45 minutes to an hour twice a day. I have gained all my size back and a bit more. I am very happy with the results.

Do you lay the pad directly on top of your penis and do you place anything in between the pad and the penis?
