review and capsule, question for those who have carried out revisions

in September I will carry out a revision, I read posts that said that in a revision you gain something, my question is, but hasn't the capsule on the glans and the shaft already been created by the first implant? How could it stretch in length and girth?

By my reading. Its common to get a longer implant. But a longer implant does not always mean a longer penis. Generally accept that to imply that any additional length gets pushed deeper into your body.

So my non medical advice. Do not expect a longer penis. Girth is probably controlled by your tunica. So more girth might be possible if your tunica has relaxed a little. Or maybe its been stretched a little.

I hope that your new implant is more comfortable, works good. That is the best you can get.

I know that this won't be well received by the forum. As I remember, you have a Titan. There is a chance that the shape of your penis is not well suited for a Titan. My penis is slightly tapered towards the tip. My CX seems to accommodate that shape & still gives me 6" (15cm) girth at about mid shaft. Even with my taper & the 6" girth. I do not have any glans discomfort.

Gt1956 thanks for your support, I'm 6"x5.5", I'm fine with keeping the same dimensions, I'll switch from titan to ams cx, I hope this change doesn't make me lose size, I'm doing this review because I haven't had it for 17 months I was able to fully enjoy my implant, it seems to have a thorn from the glans to the mid-shaft, it is uncomfortable like short and narrow shoes, I hope to solve it once and for all

In revision, my implant went up by 2 cm. My penis length went down by 3 cm. Not poor recollection, not increased fat pad. I went under anesthesia with 8” penis, and woke up with 6.5” penis. One of life’s great mysteries.

Regardless of our "perceived" size loss or gain if in the end we end up with a working oenis that keeps us in our sexual game at our age we should be thankful for sure ..

If you scroll down to table 1 in this document https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5654325/ you will see that the devices all expand in length. The LGX more so than the Titan but even the Titan expands a bit. And those numbers are with new devices. After repeated use the cylinders do soften and then even more expansion may be seen. I think this is why a longer device can be used with a revision. A man spends a lot of time and work cycling and the device stretches as does the capsule around it. A 22cm device is now a 23cm or even a bit more. When the revision happens, a longer device is used but the size of the penis will stay the same as the old device had expanded to the larger size. Maybe if men did a lot of cycling for a year or two after the revision, they would see a little gain. That would be an explanation of why the device size goes up but the penis measurement stays the same.

Thanks for your comments guys, I'm 6" x5.5, it seems like a minimum wage penis to me, I hope I don't lose size, I'm willing to lose half a cm in length just to feel comfortable, I hope that at least the circumference remains the same, I'd like to see it rounder, I see my titan as too flat (wide and narrow)

Novellino443 thanks for your table, it's a shame there isn't a table between ams cx and titan, given that the cx should be the device closest to titan in terms of erectile rigidity

good morning rdnkbiker, thanks for your testimony, what type of implant did you have?, was the healing faster than the first implant?
