I am 36 and I'm on my fourth ipp. First two ams were affected by a recall and both sopped working within few months. The third titan had a tube fracture after 3 years. Now I have another titan from less than one year.

I'm really scared about the future since im still young and I will need more revision and I'm already on my fourth surgery. In fact I'm thinking about switching to a malleable if I'll already have another early failure. But even with devices that lasts 10/15 yesrs that means at least other 3 implants.. I don't even know if my body can have all those surgeries without getting infection.

What would you do in my situation?

I'm sorry you had to go through all that ordeal with replacements and wishing you AT LEAST 10 years with this one.
I remember reading about new Titan coming within ~5 years (this was like a year or two ago) and this revision was said to have an upgraded, more durable tubing and better flaccid feeling. If your current one lasts till new Titan is on the market, this will most likely change your outlook on what way to follow.

It can and on this forum there's at least one guy who had more of them - check out Tmansdorfer. About infection rate with further revisions, Dr Eid wrote himself "In experienced hands, I believe that the infection rate for an R/R is the same as for virgin implants." (source: peyroniesforum.net).
There's also dr Perito talking about his clinic's infection rate in this episode of MTP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6huI23RL6c0. So in his experience it goes from less than 1% to around 2%. So you can make it through your life with multiple revisions and no infection I believe. Remember, new surgical techniques, medication and post-op routines will arise along with new devices so it's not like we're dead set on 15 years of implant lifetime expectation for the rest of our lives.
If there's an infection, a switch to malleable will be most likely needed (salvage to malleable) to keep tissues stretched so you can test that malleable then. In experienced hands you can always bounce back to IPP if you don't enjoy that experience, and if you do - then you're pretty much good to go & always ready to rock.

I'm speaking from heart as this is the way I'll follow when I'm dead set on an implant. I can feel you since you're paying all out of pocket so it's double bummer when it fails. I guess that's just our reality as Europeans craving American healthcare.
