Did I start Cycling too late

My doctor never mentioned cycling, I read about it here. Started 2 weeks ago which was nearly 11 weeks after my surgery. Was I too late starting?

Titan 20cm + 2cm RTE

Thank you

Probably not. Does it hurt when you max out and do the stretching exercises? Pain is good at first, that means things are stretching out.

I welcomed the dull pain of stretch for the first year, embrace the pain. If you don't have any pain or discomfort (not sharp shooting pain, but more of a dull ache or constant low pain) with the implant at max inflation, then I don't think cycling will do any good in terms of gaining length or girth, but you want to make sure you don't have a scar capsule form around the implant, so cycling is still important.

Wow!!! Can’t imagine a Dr not laying out a plan as to start cycling and even usually brings you in for a face to face initial activation. I was 300 miles away and my Dr told me to go ahead and start cycling on my own but to just pump a couple pumps and then deflate until I was comfortable with both and then go for it. I had no issues. Would definitely get started and see what happens. Were you partially inflated or left deflated?

Thanks for replying!

Yes, it hurts when I cycle it. I inflate it for 15 or 20 minutes and can usually get a few more squeezes in after initial inflation. After another 10 or 15 minutes, I bend it up and down, nothing crazy and get 4 or 5 micro squeezes in. After that the Glan stats to burn and I leave it that way for 30 minutes. Twice a day. Blub doesn't flatten out, is it supposed to when fully inflated? All in the past were Boston's.

Flaccid it's 5 1/4" X 5". At the end of cycling, it's 6 1/4" X 5 3/4". This is a revision, revision. Revision last spring, one cylinder tore through the tunica, replacement in Oct was Titan 24XL that got infected and was removed. From Dec. to May used a VED twice a day. I think he was afraid the tunica might rupture again, even though he said it was highly unlikely at my last 6 week appointment.

When fully inflated, there's quite of bit of skin that's far from being taunt, I'm hoping cycling resolves it either with length or girth increase.

Thank you,
Mario

It has not been my experience that the bulb flattens out. If it does, my understanding is that would mean there's no more fluid in the reservoir to draw from. I can pump 20 full pumps and then the pump is not at all squeezable. The bulb is full as it has drawn the next 'load' from the reservoir, but there's no more room in the cylinders... so it cannot be squeezed.

Again, in my experience I cycled daily and winced through some of the early discomfort picturing in my head that I was stretching and straining my own tissue with these new synthetic intruders. If I recall, at about the 7 month mark I had a noticeable jump in length and girth. I remember waking up one morning and pumping to the max and thinking "man, that looks longer and bigger than it did yesterday". It was. I think I jumped over a half an inch from the day before. No idea why or how, but that's what happened to me.

It's not to late too cycle. If you are already reaching 6.25" than it's already fine.

Who was your doctor? cylinder thru tunica + infections seem very hard to handle

Thank you for all the encouragement! I'll keep on cycling and try to increase the time each session and see where I end up in the next 6 - 12 months. Hopefully, it'll stretch out and the skin will become more taunt.

One more question; from squeezing the pump twice daily, do any have a soreness in the scrotum around the pump? Feels like pressing on a bruise, bearable and a slight discomfort in between cycling. It's probably from those last couple of squeezes. 125cc Reservoir filled with 90cc of Saline.

Four surgeries in 11 months, along with using the VED for 5 months, wasn't fun. In order to feel normal and be able to have sex, I'd do it all over again.

I was 12 weeks out due to 2 infections and 1 revision surgery before I was allowed to cycle, it was mentally killing me an deep depression had set in. Dr said not to worry the gains will be slower but they will come. I continue to use a ved with cycling. I gained over an inch that first year.
Keep us in the loop

Was you using the VED prior to surgery? Or did you start using the VED after surgery?

Used the VED for 5 months prior to most recent surgery in 2024. When the second implant got infected in 2023, it was removed and doctor wanted tissue to heal. While I was without an implant, I used the VED twice daily and with constrictor rings for sex.
