Leakage and loss in Size & Girth

Hello
I hope to hear from those who went through revision due to leakage. Did you face any loss is size or girth?
I'm almost a year post implant surgery and faced a flat bulb situation 2 weeks ago and still able to get hard (not as strong as before though but still able to use it). My surgeon told me upon examination that I should go back to him when it doesn't get hard for revision.

Not sure if I'm paranoid but j feel that I'm losing length! Any tips from experience will be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry but there are several ways to look at your situation. First, lots of guys don't pump to max for sex. So perhaps max pumping isn't as important after the first year. But on the other hand. How will you actually know that your too far under max pumped?

Do you see the dilemma? All of us know that a rock hard erection isn't needed for successful sex. Just how far under rock hard is only for you to decide.

I guess that after a few months you can go back to your dr & tell him you only get half an erection. My guess is he won't ask you to prove it. So you CAN try lying to him.

But just a wild guess on my part on this. Pump several times a week. See if you can get the saline to leak out faster. If you know that a revision is in your future. I don't see the harm in speeding up the ultimate failure. Of course its your implant, surgery & perhaps your money.

Not a lot of help from me. Just throwing out some possible scenarios. Good luck

Thanks for your input.

Yes, I see the diellema! I can speed up the revision but I am keen to know if there is any potential further loss in size ? It's almost a year and I haven't regained what I lost in length so worried about any risk of losing more with the revision or the leak!!

I had same concern with my leak. Not sure if it will work for you, but I realized my leak was on the fill side and I was not loosing fluid when inflated. I left myself inflated at 70% (all the fluid remaining would support) until surgery. It was a bit uncomfortable but at that level compression underwear and a down the leg stowing was not overly visible. I still ended up losing length, but believe that was due to the sizing of the new implant as I went into surgery at one length and woke up much shorter.

Thanks!
Won't be able to keep it inflated here but will continue to observe and hopefully don't lose length!

What implant made you shorter? Hard to believe your 26cm titan left you shorted?

Well I've had 2 implanted and a 3rd one on the way soon. 1st revision due to a leak in the cylinder one week post op after swelling went down noticed it wasn't as inflated as it was right after surgery. At the 2 week checkup bulb would go flat on the second pump so revision scheduled about 6 weeks after being implanted. This 2nd one implanted June 22 2023 worked great til Jan this year then it worked great one night then 2 nights later 1 squeeze and the bulb was flat that will freak you out in a hurry. I believe this current leak was actually the tubing separating at the splice from the pump to the reservoir and I've been flat since Jan. Hopefully I'll be having my 3rd implant done soon but it'll be about 7 months or more since it went flat before the surgery. So I'm kinda in the same boat waiting for the surgery so I'll know whether or not this long wait will have an effect on my size. I'll be going from the AMS 700cx to the AMS 700lgx unless something happens during surgery to change that. Most everyone I've heard that have had revisions have ended up with a larger device, but they had the device implanted and working for awhile before needed revision. Only time and your surgeons skill will tell. Wishing you the best
