I’m close to two weeks out from tactra malleable implant surgery. Had a lot of issues I’ve mentioned on here, swelling, urination, infection concerns. Got good advice on here. Been keeping in touch with surgeon. Most issues resolved. Still concerned over incision infection. It’s not totally healed yet and still getting some light yellow discharge. Surgeon thinks it’s just normal part of healing exudate.
Todays issue for input. Area above penis still little swollen. Lost a good bit of length and some girth apparently. And my penis is distinctly leaning to the left. And surgeon has said he does not want me to try bending it yet. So its sticking straight out. Hard to wear normal clothing. The left leaning is just weird. Not sure if I’ll be able to straighten it out or not once I’m cleared to bend it. Why am I being told to not bend it yet.
Bent malleable

Re: Bent malleable
Thank you. Tell me about your overall recovery if you don’t mind.
Re: Bent malleable
I'm eager to hear from others with malleables on how they’ve managed this issue with the angle.
Did a surgeon confirm the incision infection, or is that a concern you have yourself?
Some people find that the angle or twisting improves over time by bending the rods, while others don’t see much change, possibly due to tissue tension causing the implant to spring back. I hope you'll be able to use the malleability feature to your advantage. However, some surgeons may dismiss this concern if the angle is less than 20 degrees.
I would avoid bending the rods until the incision is healed or you get approval from your surgeon. The last thing you'd want is to reopen the stitches over a cosmetic issue.
With malleables, surgeons typically focus on erosion and infection as the primary concerns. Some may downplay what they consider "minor" issues as long as the implant provides adequate rigidity for penetration. I hope your surgeon takes the time to address all your concerns. Make sure to keep up with your follow-up appointments.

Re: Bent malleable
Thus far including a visit a visit to his office the surgeon does not believe I have an infection. Thinks the yellow light discharge I sometimes see is normal exudate from a wound healing. Some urinary issues back again today. Can’t figure that out. For a couple days good streams and not having to go every hour. Today back to very weak streams and dribbles.

the recovery was pretty uneventful, i was prescribed 5 or 6 meds . .anti-biotic . for swelling for heart burn , etc [ from the other meds? ,]
but i only had bruising for less than a week with no swelling . and no pain to speak of , yeah some pain meds if i remember correctly .mine leans to the left and down and i went with that . the only thing that was uncomfortable was when there was pressure on the glans from snug underwear . that lasted for maybe 4 weeks or less . i had mine done in india and would have left 2 days after the implant if i could have changed the flight for a reasonable amount . . instead i left 4 days after . on the plan ,at times i had to adjust the position to take pressure of the glans .
the one thing i had a problem with was that i was not supposed to exercise or swim for a month . That waiting period was tough . As i live on a tropical island in the Philippines and go to the beach every day to cool off and like bicycle rides for exercise .
As far as size, i only lost girth ,but a lot of that. Down 1 inch from 6 to 5 . i still plan to get HA fillers to gain that back ,but have to leave the country for that and i keep procrastinating.
other than that , i love having a hard on 24/7 . with no need for pills and suppliments . its always ready to go .and for as long as i or the girl wants it .
oh yeah, i forgot about when having to urinate ,right after the implant , they removed the catheter and said if i could pee i could leave , i could but had to contract my abdomen to push it out[ i told them ,all is good .haha i wanted out ] . that has lessened to only after sleeping and that now ,not always . not at all during the day .
