Malleable implants

Since so much of the information on this forum is related to inflatables, I’d like to have a discussion thread on malleables. Everything from reason going that route, post surgery issues, swelling, pain, recovery, satisfaction, return to work, return to exercise, and anything else relevant.
I’ve had some significant swelling, urination issues, concerns over infection, and more. Maybe I was just not prepared ahead of time by my surgeon or lack of looking into it. I was told ahead of time that I was a high risk patient for a low risk surgery due to some pre existing health issues. I’ve had ED for over 20 years. Pills worked, then didn’t. Same for Trimix and Quadmix. This was my only option for a continued sex life. I’m 64 and have always had a high sex drive and still do. I’m two weeks in post surgery of a Tactra malleable.

I am about 3 & 1/2 weeks post-operative after receiving a Boston Scientific Tactra device (sub coronal approach) at the University of Virginia. My first choice was the Rigicon 10 malleable, but this was not a choice offered at this facility. I chose a malleable due to the quicker recovery time and the hope of less pain after surgery. More importantly, although I am a very healthy 57yo man, I find the infection and component failure rates of IPPs, in addition to the likelihood of reoperation(s), absolutely unacceptable and risks I am unwilling to take. My post-op course so far has been pretty unremarkable-I took the prescribed antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds but have had very little pain. The biggest issues for me have been the learning curves of having a malleable implant; best cock position, best underwear, how to use the toilet without spraying urine everywhere.... That said though, I can honestly say that I am very glad that I made the decision I did and hopefully soon, I can comment on the sexual aspect of a MPP.

Thanks. Speaking of positioning. They left mine sticking straight out. Have told me not to try bending it yet. It actually has a left lean to it. They have told me not to try bending it yet. Said I can push it down to urinate. Very hard to find comfortable clothing. One time in life I’m kind of glad I don’t have a large penis. How is your activity level. Though 64 I’m a lifetime gym rat and love weight training and some cardio.

congratulations guys, there is a thread that I opened for you malleables and also for others to be able to obtain information on malleables, since they are placed as "low level" implants the thread is called (malleable cock of the day, photos and literature ) you can post photos of your dicks, in your opinion you have lost something compared to before the implant
