I'm 32 years old I probably have venous leakage because I can't keep my penis firm.
I had a Doppler ultrasound with injection and the results were normal.
Anyway, I cannot maintain an erection and I am thinking about starting with injections or do you recommend the implant directly?

It’s always a good idea to try injecting. Some have used it reliably for many years, others like me it was very inconsistent. I started with 2 units of a medium strength tri-mix. Within a couple months I was at 6-8units by 6 months I was at 40-50 units by a year I was at 80 units and was about to go up in strength and at this point I gave up due to the other side effects. Decided it was time for implant.Worth a try though. Never hurts to give it a go, but start with a very low dose and gradually build up til you find your sweet spot which was for me about an hour to 1-1/2 hours of erection.

I went straight from pills to implant, and I'm happy I did. I used pills for perhaps 20 years, and they were working less well and the side effects were more annoying. The current medical advice has recently been updated to support this. Originally the recommendation was pills, shots, implant, but now it says that after pills shots or implants are both fine.

The idea of shots just didn't appeal to me. I wanted more spontaneity. I like sex on trips, and packing the drugs sounded like a pain. And also I heard enough stories of people getting scarring and stuff. And I heard many comments here of people saying, "I love my bionic cock, and I wish I'd done it sooner." And now, that's exactly how I feel.

I'm not trying to change your mind here. I'm just describing what went through my mind as I made my decision.

I used injections for about 6 months, starting with normal trimix and then moving to the "super" version. By the time I really started getting serious about ED, it was essentially too late. I could get hard, but couldn't stay hard long enough for sex. It did work sometimes, so I tried to stay with it. My doc said part of the failure was probably mental.

If the injections had worked, I'd have stayed with them at least for a while. It wasn't painful and not scary after the first couple of tries - realizing that everything would be fine. It was just hard to think of sticking a needle there, but really not a problem. It was interesting to learn how to do the injections and I learned something about male anatomy at the same time.

The implant is more spontaneous, though you do have to take a little time to inflate it. It can keep you hard forever, and the erection can be as hard as you'd like it. The only thing I miss from having the implant is that wonderful sensation of enjoying your dick slowly getting harder and harder with arousal. But I hadn't had that for a very long time, anyway - it wasn't the implant that lost me that feeling.

If I were in your shoes, I'd probably at least try the injections. Once you make the move to an implant you can't go back. I have heard some doctors indicating that men should move directly to implant after pills, so I guess that's happening for some.

So, no advice, just my thoughts. Best wishes for whatever you decide. If you want to ask anything, send me a message. I tried almost everything before the implant.

Quincy.

At 32 you HAVE ALOT of sex left in your life. Get the implant and don't look back
