Short answer: any time they operate on your penis or the surrounding area, at any time for any reason, you are going to have swelling afterwards and not be able to get a good bone-pressed measurement until the swelling is gone. And there will be remnants of swelling much longer than you think.

So basically then this revision will leave me shorter.

No. What I am saying is that you are going to be sore, swollen, and trying to jam a ruler to your pubic bone to take a measurement is a foolish idea.
Your dick won’t be shorter. It may look shorter because of the swelling. But assuming you had a decent surgeon instead of one of the interns from Mom’s Discount Implant Surgery you should be fine. Once the swelling goes away.

But under anaesthesia and with a super high volume doctor I should be fine right.

I would think you’ll be fine with a high volume guy who knows what he was doing.
If I’m a typical case, then a week or two post surgery it will seem like you’ve lost a couple of inches. You might think “wtf have I let them do to me?” Then the swelling subsides and it starts to look like the dick you remembered. And you keep cycling. No two guys are exactly alike but it took almost a year before I got back to what I considered my starting point (within 1/16th of an inch).
My surgeon wasn’t a nationally famous doctor but he’s definitely high volume. It took him 8-10 years to get his first thousand, and in the last 5 years he’s done another 800 or so. So he implants about 160-180 guys a year.
What I would advise men to do, although I didn’t do it, is to hide all of the rulers and measuring tapes for at least 6 months and maybe longer.

As above, first few months you can’t even consider. I was 1-1/2” short at first by 3/4 months was 3/4-1” short by 10 months was within a 1/4” by a year it was as even as it could be but had a little more girth after 10 months than ever in my last 15 years. The VED I used prior to surgery was loose in diameter and used a ring on it now I can’t get in it when pumped up at all. If I put my dick in it and then pump it up I get 95 percent and then it gets WAY TOO TIGHT.

If you mean that you are being re-implanted 7 days after the initial implant(for what ever reason) then l imagine the doc could use the initial measurements and put in a new implant

Reread the post. My mistake. I guess you mean measurement for you to know your size. That'll be a while before actual results can be measured. Swelling takes time to go down

But assuming you had a decent surgeon instead of one of the interns from Mom’s Discount Implant Surgery you should be fine. that's pretty much how I feel about my implant surgeries .. teaching hospital .."caught" a different dr. doing my surgery ..when confronted my surgeon assured me that he was involved with my surgery from beginning to end. Although the written record of the dr. who wrote that he did surgery "disappeared" from my records within minutes of my email reply from my surgeon. So depending on where you get your surgery done if it's a teaching hospital and you sign agreement papers when going in that you accept the fact that students may observe or take part in your surgery. Hopefully your surgeon will be more honest or transparent then my surgeon was.
