Distal migration of the cylinder into the glans.

Coloplast Titan: the left cylinder of my implant has moved into the glans. Not much but still reason to worry about.

Who has ever experienced anything like that or heard of such a thing? A couple of days ago I had asked whether Dr. Eid is still acive. Well, now you guys know why I was asking… I fear it can’t get fixed from the outside, hence a revision might be necessary.

I see your implant date is 2015! If you’ve noticed a noticeable change in the cylinders after this much time it’s definitely time to go see the Dr. I only hope I can get that much time out of mine. As you’ve read they normally install around a 2cm longer implant on revisions. I’ve always assumed that’s because over time the tissue stretches out and the cylinder is maxed out causing cavernosa to be a little loose around the cylinder in time. This could possibly be your situation. Either way it’s time for some maintenance of the implant, diagnosed by a good quality implanter

Can you see it protruding against the outer skin? What are your symptoms?

There's a term called "impending erosion" and surgeons fix that using the technique called "Distal Corporoplasty", without the need for explanation of old components. The key seems to be to act immediately and not wait until the extrusion progresses further through the glans.

That’s all I can see. Can feel the left cylinder is passing the right one, although it won’t interfere with any sexual and other activity. Doctor wants to see it of course.

Do you carry on the left? The asymmetry of the glans in your photo could be due to pressure on the right side exerted by your underwear or pants. How tight are they? Try carrying on the right and see if it corrects or reverses it. This suggestion is simple and may help get a proper diagnosis.

I’m wearing Boxers. As mentioned already the left cylinder moved forward, that’s why the tips are not parallel anymore. I gonna see Dr. Eid.

Has this been a gradual movement over the years, or was this movement sudden, like in the last few days?

Good question. I haven’t made notes, so I guess I have noticed it around the beginning of June.

Just out of curiosity, why don’t you see Dr. Leiber since he was your Dr.?
