I leave mine about 3/4 hard, then if you go down on her or kiss her neck, even kissing you can reach down and add a pump or two. Its easy to add a pump quickly once you get used to it. Grip strength could be a variable

When things start escalating towards possible sex, go to the bathroom and pump it up to 70-80%.

Then during the foreplay do the remaining 5-10 pumps. Preferably by one hand, train your wrist for stronger grip for that.
