Two weeks ago this afternoon had implant.
Penoscrotal.
Had bruising but not much swelling. Seems I have had more pain than most I read about on here.
Mine is a burning pain along and below the incision.
Standing and sitting upright are the worst. Still having to take a couple pain meds each day. No signs of infection. Partial inflation and pointed up. Lot of ice packs at first but none last few days. I have had several major surgeries so I am no stranger to pain but this one is a bit different and of course in the worst location.
Praying tomorrow is a little better!

Hang in there, the first implant is the worst, takes most 2-4 weeks before getting relief. You might want to try triple antibiotic ointment for a day or two, I also used pure aloe on the incision. Your almost there, good luck

Sorry you're having lots of pain. Just remember what the end of the struggle will be like though, a penis that is always ready.
If your incision is fully healed and doc clears you a hot bath may feel good. I took a hot bath every morning for close to 4 months. Another help was Aspercream, a small dab smeared along my shaft kept that pain down for several hours.
Hope all goes well here on out.

Thanks for the votes of confidence! My plan is to stick this out ( no pun intended) to success.
I still have a lot of energy left, still working full time and blessed to have fairly decent health.
Shorty gave up on me too early and I hope to perk him up!
Please keep the positive posts coming.
Thanks

Hang in there! I'm 4 weeks out and the difference between 2 vs 3 vs 4 weeks is significant.
The pain level is by 80% of what it was compared to 2 weeks.
Rest lots and try to walk to get the blood flowing in the body to heal, and eat well. Take tylenol throughout the day to help manage pain.

I started putting aspercream on the shaft and neosporin on the incision. I walked roughly a mile this morning and now I'm in the recliner with ice pac cause it is burning like crazy. Took a pain med. I have tried 500mg Tylenol but it doesn't seem to have any effect.
I really anticipated being a lot further along at 2 weeks.
Amazing how much the posters on here vary as it relates to pain. Some say that had very little or no pain, others say they had bruising, swelling, pain for weeks?
I shall keep moving forward, praying for a good ending!
Thanks
JK

Does anyone have discomfort at the "dog ears" while partially inflated during the healing process?
Tks

JHealth,
May I ask, have you checked with your surgeon? Mine didn't want anything, ANYWHERE near the groin area, other than warm soapy water.
What did you doctor say about exercise? Were you wearing an athletic supporter? ASK!!!

I did not ask surgery about exercise but I did ask if I could go back to work and he said if I felt up to it but suggested I might think about waiting another week.
I have no swelling or redness, no fever, just this burning pain at bottom back of shaft on and underneath where my incision is. I walked another mile this morning.
Odd thing is the walking does not add to nor take away from the pain.

Is it out of the ordinary to still have to use ice packs to calm down the pain at the 16th day post surgery?
