About to become bionic in November.

Met with Dr. Clavell today to go over everything and I have decided to go with the AMS CX and will be paying out of pocket.

Staff was great and Trish was a great help doing all the paperwork and scheduling this morning.

One funny thing that happened was when I had to drop my drawers for Doc and when he stretched me, he jokingly said God favored me and then said I would need the full 6 weeks off from work for recovery nodding at my junk. Haha

Anyway, the journey has begun for real.

Dr. Clavell is a ordinary guy with extraordinary talents.

Prior to me going in to surgery I was in the waiting room with my wife all laid out on the gurney with nothing but my gown on. Dr. Clavell comes in, we chat for a minute and he lifts the gown to take one last look pre-surgery. He then says "well, it's clear she didn't marry you for your eyes..." and looked over at her.

We still use that line and crack up.
