Reservoir compressing ureter, causing Hydronephrosis?

In a recent health exam, ultrasound exam reveals that I have developed a Hydronephrosis in my left kidney, which is also the side where the reservoir was placed. The doctor believes that this is driven by the reservoir pressing the ureter on the left side, similar to the case discussed in this paper:
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16208400/ Doing a PET CT to confirm this in a week..
Has anyone ever heard or experienced something like this? Couldn't find anything on the forum, also on the internet except for the paper that I linked...

Interesting. What led up to the health exam, and the discovery of the hydronephrosis?

Hey, were they able to confirm? What remedy did the doctor suggest?

I didn't know what the condition was called, but both my kidneys were damaged due to the prostate pressing my ureter. The urine backed up all way to the kidneys.
A TURP procedure probably saved my life, but I did suffer kidney damage to both kidneys.

Was that caused by the implant?

No, it was due to BPH. Enlarged prostate.
