Re: Well here I go
I just had mine last week through the V.A.. I'm a little sore and move gingerly, not from pain but in anticipation of it. All I used was the Walmart version of Tylenol (although they did give an Rx for oxycodone). A lot of these posts are about problems but the vast majority of these procedures are trouble free. My worst problem was the stubble of the pubic hair growing out, it was like resting my nuts on a pincushion.
79 Y/O. Had a few months ED when I was 47 (after my wife died) but I recovered. ED returned with my present wife when I was 72. I tried Viagra, which worked for a few years, then got only semi erections. On 9/6/24 I got an AMS600 from the V.A.

Congrats and Good luck. I am 2 week implanted today. Things are going well as far as I can tell and I am sure they will for you also. I and many here on FT were like you and somewhat apprehensive going in. I think you will be glad you did it in about 3 months. Just remember to breath and try not to psyc your self to bad. things will work out fine.
Implant on 9/3/24. Married to the same great wife for 37 years. Boston AMS 700 CX 9/24 21cm
Re: Well here I go
Time is flying by. Pre-op at hospital on Thursday, surgery 2 weeks from today. I’ve had many surgeries, some worse than others, but this one still has me nervous as hell !!! Anyone have any input as to how long it will be before I can hit the gym or play pickleball?
