79 year old's 2 Year Anniversary

Today is my 2 year anniversary of having an implant, I gained so much information about ED and implants through Frank Talk I felt I owed the forum some insight into living with an implant.

Gentlemen, I have not regretted getting an implant for one second, everything has been a positive experience not only for me, but for my loving wife as well.

Just before my surgery date I ran across a post by Minnesota#2, a young man of 27 years who was scheduled to have surgery not only on the same day, but nearly the same hour as I was scheduled. This intrigued me, because he was 27 and I was 77 at the time. Minnesota#2 and I became forum friends as we compared our experiences, these original posts can be found at:

https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20285&hilit=minnesota+%232

My surgery was straight forward with no surprises, it was done by Dr. Yafi at UCI, he is a wonderful person and surgeon, UCI is a teaching hospital, so my surgery was attended by 4 or 5 young medical doctors learning Dr. Yafi's skills and the day after the surgery they came to my room, and all indicated what a wonderful surgeon Dr. Yafi is, they were very impressed.

My recovery was textbook, no surprises there, FT forum posts in this forum along with your surgeon will tell you exactly what to expect and how to make it easy on yourself. Do your homework, know what to expect, unfortunately recovery just takes time, and we can't change that.

What I want to report to you is what it is like to have an implant after having one for two years. I think the best place to start is our final doctor visit which was with Dr. Yafi's PA. We were on a no sex restriction for 6 weeks after the surgery and yes, that is a long time! I would have cheated, but with my wife a rule is a rule. However, I convinced my wife we should test fly this thing just before our doctor's visit to make sure everything worked, if it didn't, we would have questions and be at the right place to ask them.

I don't have to tell you how great it feels to put your hard cock in a hot, wet pussy after being without for 6 weeks. It was the greatest feeling in the world, sensationally there was no difference in the feeling between before and after implant. At our doctor's visit the next day, the PA asked how it was going and my normally sexually conservative and private wife blurted out, "It's great! I couldn't tell the difference!" The PA was a bit shocked and said, "You had sex, you weren't supposed to." My wife said, "It was perfect!"

I am now 79 years old and getting my implant was the smartest thing I have done in years. I am just as horny as I have ever been and my wife and I have been scheduling sex which has been great. We have sex sometime over the weekend, usually Sunday morning and then we do our best to get laid on Wednesday. This has really helped our sex life, no games, it is understood and we both look forward to it. Two great romps a week is just perfect for us, if one of us needs more for some reason, the other will comply.

My glans does not get that throbbing, swollen condition as with a normal erection, but it has not been any kind of problem with PIV sex or even blow jobs. One of the reasons I had to get an implant to have sex is I lost vision in one eye which can happen with the use of the ED pills, so I have not tried a daily dose of Cialis like some have successfully used.

Guys, I know all the things that go through your head when you are trying to decide what to do about an implant, but don't let it concern you. Minnesota#2 at 27 years of age and myself at 77 years had nearly identical experiences and we are both very happy with the results. If you are debating with yourself, just make the decision and do it. I would definitely recommend a high volume surgeon, they know what they are doing and it is only about a 45 minute surgery. Your recovery will be like everyone else's, and you will love the results. There is nothing like slipping your never fail erection into a ready and willing pussy.

I am approaching year number 2 also.
I second every single thing this gentleman just said.

Absolutely spot on.

Well said friend and congrats on finding (and keeping!) a great lifetime partner.

Year three will be just as blessed, I promise.

Just curious, what dose of ED pills were you taken to cause a vision loss in one eye. I have never heard about this. I take 20mgs of Tadalafil daily just for my glands. Works great.

Great post. This is the stuff guys need to see to help make that big decision.
I remember you and Minnesota exchanging posts and comparing notes. Because I lived in Minnesota for a while, met my wife there, his handle caught my attention.
Happy to hear all is well.
