Where does your implant stop??

How close to the tip of the premise does your implant go? I just had my surgery a couple days ago. It looks ok, but I got to thinking about the glans potentially being enforced. It was then I realized that the cylinders are right at the tip of the penis. It’s pumped to 50% for the next 4 weeks. I may be simply paranoid, but I’m worried that over time the cylinders will just burst through as my penis tried to retract.

Am I worried for nothing?

Mine might be a bit further than 2/3 of my glans so I’d say they are pretty far into the glans. My advice is to slowly work your way up to fully inflated over the next 6 months. Don’t be super aggressive with cycling. There are also surgical options where the surgeon will add more tissue from a dead cow into the glans which will give more cushion. At the same time the surgeon may file down the ends of the implant. Maybe you could take a picture to show where the tips are sitting in your glans and send it to your surgeon to see what he thinks. When I was first implanted I was worried about a lot of things that turned out to be non issues. Try to enjoy the implant and not dwell or over think on things.

Thanks for that. I met with the surgeon tomorrow for a final release. I'm thankful to know that there are options or there to fix it if something is wrong. It is a devestating thought that these things burst through the end of my penis. I've seen a video of Perito saying that even that is fixable, I just really don't want that trauma of course, and I can't afford another procedure anyway.

But, as you said, I need to stop worrying about what may not be an issue. Thanks.

Hi Jakerip, I just got implanted by Dr karaman yesterday, and I got exactly the opposite problem as you, the implant is not into the glans, resulting in a floppy glans or hypermobility of the glans. Dr Karaman told me about this today, he said it is genetic so I don't know what to think of it. Anyway it is my second day only and I am at 50% inflation so I hope it will get better with full inflation later. If you want we can get in touch via pm

That's very disappointing. After I complained to him about mine being too far in, I wonder if he overcorrected and went short on yours. I kinda wonder if he's as experienced with these as he says. How could the placing of the implant be genetic? I don't get that. But anyway, I sent you a PM with my whatsapp. We can talk about it more there. Hope things work out well for you.
