Hi All - I'm looking to find men who have implants and have anal sex with their partners, gay or straight. I need to know how effective the implant is and if it really gets you firm and hard enough to penetrate a male, in my case. I'd love some feedback about this aspect since I can't find anyone who can comment on it for me so far. More info. on me in the introductions section....but I will say I'm a 62 year old gay man with permanent ED from Brachytherapy radiation 2+ years ago, and am seriously considering an implant.

You can get hard enough to penetrate sheet rock if your penis can take it.

Yep, as my compound pharmacist says, give yourself a shot, stand naked against a brick wall, and that penis is going to get hard and go somewhere. Either the brick wall will give way or you'll be the first man who ever really did fuck himself.

Thanks for your replies guys. I really appreciate the sense of humor. It's a tough subject and staying sane requires some humor I think. OK, Ill take your words for it that I'll be able to get hard enough. Now i just have to get over my nerves about the surgery and facing the potential of infection. I'll admit I'm scared of it all and wish I could just stay the way I am but then again I don't want that do i? I see my Urologist in about 3 weeks to talk to him again and give him my decision, assuming I've made one by then. From what I've read it seems that most guys are supremely happy with their implants so I have a lot of anecdotal evidence that it'll work well for me too. We'll see what I decide. I've heard from guys who say Don't Wait and frankly my preference has always been to live my life and not defer my pleasures or responsibilities either one. So I'll probably do it. I'm just getting used to the idea for the last couple of months. Done lots of research and finding lots of stories. I even watched a You-Tube video on the procedure and watched the surgery. Pretty scary but then I prefer to know what's happening to my body. Anyway, thanks again for responding to me. I'm grateful.

Ditto to what Daverx said.
I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
The Implant completely corrected my ED and restored both my sex life and the emotional bond with my wife of 45 years.
We both love my Implant and have been enjoying it to the fullest for the past 5 years and counting.
One of the best decisions I have made!!

This is the first time I've ever talked with other men with ED and it's a little emotional for me I'm finding. I didn't realize just how alone I felt. And now I don't so much. So thanks, really.

Hey Steve:

Part of my decision to go ahead with the implant was my inability to perform anal penetration with my partner. She is one of the few women I've ever known who really, and I mean really enjoys it. We've made love like porcupines (very carefully) since my surgery. But I'll be 6 weeks post-op on Thursday and will see my doctor on Friday hopefully for a final go for throttle-up. I can let you know on Friday afternoon how well it works. My only concern is my glands - they are still pretty soft, but my shaft is as hard as a bullet. I couldn't be happier.
