34yo fears losing girth after IPP surgery

Hi all,

1,5 years ago I would never have thought ever joining an ED forum in the near future and here I am, grateful this place exists.

I'm going to get implanted at the end of December in Germany and since I'm not a big guy to begin with (6,1 inches length, 4,5 inches girth pre ED erect size), I'm extremely afraid of losing length and girth. Especially losing girth would be devastating with my numbers.
I see how people lose length. There are implants which do not lengthen by inflating so incorrect intraoperative measurement and/or surgical inaccuracies might result in decreased length. But how in hell's name do people lose girth with IPPs which all expand in width? Yeah, if you're having ED for many, many years I see how it can happen but how do the other guys lose girth?

Started using a VED for 30 min/d and I am going to get implanted with Coloplast Titan Touch.

Would love to hear outcomes from smaller guys who got the same implant and haven't been suffering from ED for many years.

Thanks!

What was your girth immediately post-op? Did you regain any girth? I was at 5.5 and now at 5.25 post-op.. no change 8 weeks in.

Hello there! Who is your surgeon? I am german and go my surgery done here, 2 months ago.

My girth was fine, not thinn, but not the biggest. around/a little over 5 inches. Now, I am at 5,6inches and still feel the stretch, so girthwise you are fine. What is the reason for your ED?

Coloplast titan is a good choice. You should be able to preserve your girth and might end up gaining some.
I have a coloplast and my girth remains the same at 5.5 inches. I would more worry on preserving length.

Thanks for your answer. 0,6 inches girth increase is crazy.
I also read your journey yesterday and that you lost a lot of length which is harsh, sorry for that man. Are you seeing ANY improvements by cycling. Also do your doctors know what the heck happened?

If I'm losing 2 inches I'm nothing short of fucked up. Horror story for real dude. Really hope you get the length back (... not even knowing what it feels like having a big dick  life is strange)

What's the reason for my ED?
That's the big question to be honest, which I stopped asking myself since nobody has an answer.

Last year I noticed my erections getting weaker from time to time but I didn't think much of it. I started getting really nervous when I lost my morning wood and made appointments. It took 6 months of local urologist hopping until I met Dr. Leiber-Caspers in Krefeld (great physician, very empathetic). Cavernosography showed heavy venous leak. PDE5 inhibitors and also injections didn't do anything so IPP is the only route.

There was a small sex accident around that time my erections got weaker where my penis bent a bit. Slightly painful in the moment but I kept my erection afterwards so it's not related doctors say.

Sounds good girth wise. Length wise not so good :(

May I ask what your length is before and after IPP? Did you recover length after implantation if you lost some?

Sorry to hear. That's also a big loss but still more I could ever dream of

Thanks for your answer, man!

My 2 cents, you will gain girth, I had a pencil dick my whole life, then the injury and loss of it all, a slow ten year recovery never recooperating my natural size. After my surgery I gained girth:)

I preserved my pre op length. In fact I gained marginally. The correct sizing is an important aspect of this surgery for which a skilled high volume surgeon is a must. I would also encourage you to ask the doctor to do a penile doppler and measure your length before surgery. This length should be the benchmark for you and the surgeon.
