Sudden ball of fluid when deflating at the base of the penis. Any idea what it could be?

I wonder if anyone experienced this?

i recently started cycling, about a week ago. When i deflate and stand up from bed, i notice a ball of fluid suddenly forming at the base of my penis on the underside where the penis connects to the scrotum. (see image attached in the red area). It becomes a big ball of fluid and protudes very noticeably. Over night it reduces in size, but next time i deflate again i experience the same thing. It already happened 3 times. If i stay laying down in bed for 10 minutes after deflating and i do not move at all, it seems to not happen.

I have some theories.

1- It could be some leak in the system that happens only when i deflate, maybe defective valve or deflation tubing. Which would be terrible.
2- Maybe some kind of accumulated fluid/swelling inside my body that only comes out after i am deflated. I do not experience this when i walk around partially inflated. And it did not happen ever until i started cycling. This seems a bit weird though and i do not completely deflate for that reason, so i keep myself partially inflated at all times.

When it happens, it is very fast, within seconds, like a tsunami at the base of my penis.

I wonder if anyone had any similar experience?

I attach an image i stole from user stampede to illustrate, the ball of fluid happens exactly in the red area. And since the area itself is swollen i am not even sure if there is tubing there or just swelling.

Could just a small haematoma that has developed post op. There will be a lot of swelling for quite a while and inflating and deflating can cause irritation and more fluid/swollen tissue. I developed a haematoma a bit bigger than a golf ball, it surrounded the deflate block/button and was mainly fluid. It went down over the course of a couple of weeks. It seemed like it was never going to go and then suddenly disappeared.

Can you pump the cylinders and they stay hard?
Can you inflate and deflate without problems?
Then it's not a leakage, but probably a hematoma or swelling.

Cheers

Hi Dan, correct. Inflation and deflation works normally, so it was some fluid from my body causing it. It has gotten better over time so far.

If you are experiencing any fever or drainage contact your Urologist Immediately. See my attached photo, this happened 8 weeks post-op

Damn, that picture looks scary. You were totally fine until week 8 and that happened out of nowhere?

How did you resolve it in the end?

Hope you are well now
