Pain less, still lot of swelling, difficult to locate pump in it’s entirety. Go Friday for staple removal and go from there !! I was hoping swelling would be down more, but of course this is different from any surgery I’ve had. How long till your swelling was “comfortable”?

After 4-6 weeks it should decrease, sometimes lomnger as it's individual and also depends on activity.

I had swelling for more than 6 weeks. I could find the pump, but not the deflate button.
Have you been using ice? That usually decreases the swelling.

Ok. Friday Nov 8. I went to see Dr. Tajkarimi. Decided to leave staples in for another week. He then instructed me to tug on pump to keep it low. He told me to grab his shoulder and then demonstrated. I’m glad I had his shoulder else I may have reacted poorly. Wow felt like he grabbed pump and testicles and tugged “aggressively “. I’m now trying to pull it gently a few times a day to keep it down. My sense of self preservation won’t let me pull it very hard.
